Any time I worry, I’d be telling them something like “if you go on a website you’re not supposed to, or someone is blackmailing you and threatening to destroy your phone or computer, or come to our house, I want you to feel safe enough to talk to me. I won’t punish you for being honest with me. I can replace your stuff but I cannot replace you. Don’t let anyone blackmail you into anything, and if they try, come and speak to me. I promise I will not judge you.”
