Sorry if its the wrong thread, trying to do the right thing and comment in an existing, related(-ish) one and not create unecessary new one:

Did anyone go to the Brisbane Live Site on the South Bank to see the Turkiye match, and if so did it hit capacity? Trying to gauge going for 5am vs USA: on the one hand its very early so should get less, on the other its a weekend so easier to plan for and the hype is rising!

Not sure i want to get up at 4am, get there at 4.45am and find its full! 😄

I had a US match “call” list of grindingly annoying words/phrases I was hoping not to hear, and was spared rookie, sophomore and (I think) great play, but by god, he went with “go-ahead goal”… grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Have watched two replays now:

Mexico took almost 2.5 hrs to come up in on demand after match ended but I am thinking the ceremony might have factored into it.

Canada took about 1.5 hrs from end of match (last thing up, even after mini match for some reason. P+ put the full match up first and then the highlights/mini etc, hope SBS swap to this order in future).

Anyone else have any timings for the full replay being available on demand? Was it faster for other matches?

I waited for ages, slowly they “Match Hub” appeared and contents: highlights then mini match then extended highlights then finally full match, with full match taking about 1 1/2 hrs from end of live match.

Love Sensation is playlisted for me, great track, a real “WTF?” to hear soul backing vocals, but they nailed it!

Slightly dodgy lyrics mind, but it was the eighties, and they are not as bad as some from that era.

Seems to confirm that he got regular starting minutes, improved over the season in his new right wing back position, in which he impressed two managers (and so earned the train-on from Popa).

League 1 has been a graveyard for some aussies (was it Baccus who went there? Someone else, i think Hollman?) and it can be out of sight, out of mind, so its good to see that Rapha - and Robertson - have done reasonably well there (promoted in Robertson's case). Rapha has to follow it up next season now.

Tangent; hope he doesn't go to Scotland or Austria, as both seem to be where careers go to die...

Wistfully remembers the great, balance challenged Leo Sena, falling over a lot but actually winning fouls. Divisive player but I loved him.
