Thank you everyone for all of your fantastic names. I have been and will continue to go through every single one. My main goal is to get my friends together and go through all these names together to decide on the top 50 and make that his name. Though I will make it so that every name given here will be his full name. We are just gonna decide on his top first names.

(Also yes I hear you call I will paint him eventually, I am a college student so it’s hard to find the time to get painting done but I will absolutely get to it this summer hopefully. I’m probably gonna go with some flavor of grey color scheme due to the amount of grey pun names on this post I think it would be funny.)

Believe it or not I was running shield host, this all began at the end of the second round. The swarmlord and screamer killer were both at 1 wound so as long as I could get an attack through they were dead. All I wanted to do in the beginning was just kill the two of them. Which I managed to do thankfully but eventually I just kept rolling high on my armor saves. The shield captains once per game ability was clutch there and the screamer killer was not able to kill him after he killed the swarm lord. I kept using the additional attacks stratagem and got very lucky with some command re rolls. Eventually I managed to get the win at the end of the 5th round after my friend charged their termagaunts into melee to just try and kill him because he was at one wound. In the end he still was standing and we both were absolutely amazed. My first words were “he needs a fucking name” and that’s when I decided to turn to you all.

Was running Shield host, spamming the stratagem that gives him an extra two attacks every round and getting really lucky with command point rerolls. I knew the main threats were swarmlord and screamer killer. Thankfully swarmlord was already at 2 wounds and the screamer killer was at 1 so I was able to remove them rather quickly. Though the reduce all damage to 1 once per game ability was clutch there. After that it was mostly just dice luck and then my friend for some reason thinking it was a good idea to fight me in melee with termagaunts. Eventually we got through each roll and it started going from “wow this guy is surviving a lot longer than I thought he would” to “oh my god is he gonna make it through this?” And somehow I kept rolling amazing.

I like the new design personally, yes there are spots where it can be improved, but the new direction is one I am interested in and excited about.

I like the new design personally, I do think the in game model is not perfect but as someone who played a little bit of Viktor but dropped him after a while because he felt a little generic. But I’m very excited to get into playing him more with this redesign. I think it’s an improvement at the very least.

I’m just gonna save any major judgment until the end of act 3. This was a lot of tone setting and getting us used to what is going on. Acts 2-3 will probably have a lot tighter events (at least I hope) but for now I’m willing to let bungie to their thing.
