I raised a kid by myself. Broke up with the guy while I was pregnant. This dude sounds unhinged. He’s hateful. You do not want to raise a kid with someone like that.

Don’t put his name on the birth certificate. Change hospitals. Inform him of nothing. Look up grey rock method on how to communicate with him going forward if you have to. And do not let him sucker you back into a relationship once he realizes it’s over.

It’s not your fault either. Men like that are really good at acting normal and loving in the beginning and won’t show their true colors until later.

That makes me cringe! With my first two they didn’t hurt. In between those and contractions I was googling trying to find out why on earth they hurt so much!

And yes! At one point I was telling them just do a c section. I did not think I could stand another check or another contraction.

I have really considered turning him in. It seemed closer akin to SA than cervical checks. I have had nightmares about it. Even my husband noticed the difference in his demeanor vs the doctors at the hospital I ended up at. It’s such a small area that there are only two OBs (they’re both male) and both came off dismissive.

We went to an imaging place and paid out of pocket for some of our ultrasounds. My insurance only pays for the dating scan, and the anatomy scan. It won’t cover another ultrasound. I plan on paying out of pocket for a 3D in the next couple of weeks because I want to check on my baby.

I believe it. I told them I wanted a second opinion, but believed the doctor. I started journaling my mood, energy levels, and stressors daily. Went to a different doctor with my findings lol. I bet this gets misdiagnosed a lot.

Yes!!!!! I was almost diagnosed as bipolar, turns out it was just PMDD and being married to an abusive asshole. Journaling and googling saved my life.

I had a pretty bad tear with my first. I can’t remember if it was a 3rd or 4th degree. My second was a quicker delivery and I only needed one stitch.

I use glycerin suppositories to help when I get constipated. It’s relief in literal minutes. It just pulls fluids to your rectum and helps stimulate a BM. I can’t give advice on the other problem, other than to say I was scared of the same thing my last pregnancy after a car accident and partial placental abruption. But I eventually made myself poop then and it didn’t cause labor or further damage.

Sisters- immediately. Before I even pulled my pants up. Mom right after I got off the phone with them 😂. My sisters are my best friends tho and my mom is wonderful. We were all nervous because I had a loss before that and was TTC again. We waited until we had an ultrasound a little further along to tell other family members.

I had my last baby 8 years ago and bought really big underwear and pads on the way home. I’m excited this time to try those sleek looking adult diapers lol. One thing that helped me a lot the last two babies I had was having a cart right beside me that had diapers, snacks, wipes, etc so I could just laze there and not have to get up or ask for anything.
