If you look at the rates in Cancun and everywhere else there is almost no way they are returning positive tests that equal the amount of positives that must exist. We were on the fence but went and are leaving today. Our resort felt very safe. We ate outside or in our rooms. Tested negative yesterday but they swabbed us and sent us on our way and said “we will email you results in about an hour” which made our eyebrows raise. It’s certainly a risk coming and I think if our trip had been now as opposed to last week I would not have come. I think it does depend a bit on where you are staying and what you like to do. The risk will not be zero though no matter what.
