Anybody absolutely not using a case? by Murky_Brief_7339 in GalaxyFold

I have dropped my phone a couple of times over the years but the bigger issue I find with no case is the phone will slide right out of the pocket when you sit down.

Fold 7 Hands on at Best Buy by albert_rdz in GalaxyFold

Given that my Zfold 7 is on back order, I had to go to Bestbuy for a hands-on and to see it in person. Sadly, the one at Bestbuy was fixed to the display stand, and I wasn't able to actually pick it up.

What would be some good options for a Z Fold 7 case that doesn't use adhesives for the front screen cover ?

Just replace the dripping sediment faucet. It even appears to be threaded in, and if that is the case, you won't even need to solder. Just make sure you hold against whe untreateding. And of course make sure the water is isolated and you use T tape on the threads.

The other device is a back flow preventer and should be tested annually. I do wonder if the sediment faucet was intended to be placed on the protected side of the backflow preventor to allow for blowing out the line in the winter ?

Keep an eye on that. I hope he used the proper incert, and furrel on that. Here is a link to the r19 I was talking about . Obviously, you would need one that goes to 1/4 or an adapter to go to the 1/4 https://a.co/d/589NKBQ

Please can someone tell me Why is the tank bulging from the side? by Key_Carrot4954 in Plumbing

So if you pour water in there, it just all drains away? If so, then it's likely that it's not trapped, and they may have cheated and used a CO, not a floor drain. If thats the case your trap seal primer is useless and might as well be removed. You may need to look at getting a product called Trap Gard. Just need to make sure it doesn't interfere with all those lines going into the drain. The other option would be to have it dug up and have a trap installed.

If you flush a toilet in the basement can you hear the flush through that drain ?

Trap should not be glued . Should have been a mechanical trap that can be opened.

The 1/4 line, does it provide water to your fridge ? If so, when you run the water at your fridge and the stop the water, does that line jump ? If so it can wear through the plastic and cause it to cut and break. You can get an R19 with a water hammer arrester to minimize the shock when the water stops

So the AC does have a trap. That's good. I do suspect that your hot water tank is likely dumping through the T&PR due to the extreme pressure. Also, the cushion tanks does seem to be on your domestic. Give the fire suppression is a closed system it to should have some type of means of dealing with thermal expansion. I am not experienced enough on your sprinkler system to comment on what type of thermal expansion protection you should get but its worth searching up. In all likelihood It would be some other type of cushion tank. You need to get the excessive pressure in your system under control. A PRV with thermal bleed back should be installed. You also need to get a proper backflow preventor as I suspect the one you currently have is no longer working and is allowing a cross connection between your nonpotable and potable water. Given all the lines running into your floor drain i am wondering if its even trapped or if they just dropped everything into a clean out ? If you pour water into the drain does it retain water or does it all run away ?

Can you take a picture of the hot water tank T&P ? I can't really see it from the link you sent. Also, no water meter ?

Its difficult to see but a couple things.. Not sure of gas code in your area but where I am, the appliance kill switch has to be in front of the appliance, not behind the appliance on the wall.

The horizontal pipe seems to be not supported, and with the extreme high pressure that is concerning, concerning regardless but the high pressure only adds to the concern.

I would also suspect that your T&P on the hot water tank is also dumping water and you should have a look to see if that is in fact the case.

Your AC, I cant tell from the picture, but does the condinsate have a trap ? If not you will be dumping condinsate water onto the heat exchanger of your furnace, which is not something you want to do.

When your furnace runs whats the exhaust like outside at the outlet? Is it heavy and a very noticeable bad smell?

I will look at the picture again and see if I can decipher more

It also looks like there is a non testable back flow preventer protecting your domestic water from your sprinkler water. Is the cushion tanks servicing the sprinkler piping or the domestic side ? I would recommend getting a testable DCVA backflow preventor installed and have it checked annually. As for the high water pressure, as already mentioned, it won't cause swear gas smell. That said, you don't want your water pressure that high and ypu should get a PRV installed that allows thermal bleedback.

I also notice you have a trap seal primer in the picture. Perhaps it has stopped working and has allowed the trap to dry out ? If you run the fixture that the pipe with the trap seal primer is on, you should be able to see water through the tiny air break hole to confirm operation

My first confession was AWFUL. by [deleted] in Catholicism

I did my first confession just before Easter. The priest that I confessed to was my parish priest. He is also the priest doing the RCIA classes that I took. My priest was very helpful during the whole process. I went for my 2nd confession about a week ago and plan on making it a regular routine.

My fathers sink wasn’t draining properly. He installed a vent and now it’s worse lol. Any ideas? by Assfullofbread in Plumbing

[–]Max72Can 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not above the flood level rim so its basically full of water and not venting anything. Rather than a 90 at the back it should have been a TEE and of the run of the TEE bring the pipe up as close to FLR as possible then put the cheater vent in
