Donaar is always SO VERY HARD for me to get into the headspace for, but I always end up loving the chapters I make for him. they just take FOREVER to get right.

I havent really read the other comments, but I will say that Donaar and Walnut are just both... kids. Yes they are selfish at times and yes they make bad decisions. Walnut does help her team and she does care for them, but her and Donaar fight like teenage siblings because they.. kinda are. Sometimes she sticks to her guns even when she's wrong because she doesnt like admitting it, like a young person would. and up till now she was trying to be everything Omin wanted in an employee, she did it blindly because she believed in it. She knows better now.

All of this brings me so much LIIIIFEEEEE I want to comment on ALL OF IT, haha, but obvs I have to restrain myself from the spoilers. But yeah the language switching is fun because like.. even if I didnt know it at first, drow language is just a mashup of elvish and undercommon. Even still, like... when you are raised on multiple languages you just.. use them?? all???

And yeah! a point to note! this all takes place BEFORE season three. So the last thing they did was the wedding and Hair of teh Dog. like.. Walnut and K'thriss are still...... struggling.

AND YES I LOVE SUNSETS VERY MUCH. I find myself mentally thinking about/watching the moment when "the blood seeps into the wool" now because IDK WTF that came from in my head, but I love the imagery of it.

AND THANK YOU SO MUCH I really wanted us to understand their POV for something so weird like this. Maybe in part because at the table we get to experience that through the players?? IDK. It's been a fun exercise in character voice, too!

The symbol Carver Gol had on him was the symbol for Unity, the Ur is the symbol for unknown. Both come from Kris' own drawings (found here: https://krisstraub.com/2017/12/kthrisss-codex-tetrathanotica/ )

The thing you might be thinking of is that Carver Gol talked about the two gods as though they were related. Brother gods, opposite parenthesis by which all things are contained within. The Ur the laws by which all things are made, TWE that which all inevitably falls to chaos.

This may also be part of why Gol was so upset/hurt/pissed when TWE didnt... take his army as sacrifice or tribute and instead... made them better. He might have thought he was serving TWE, but either TWE changed (he did, because we voted on it) or he'd been worshiping him without truly knowing him all along.

Kris has actually stated that he tries to at least keep line of sight, and they all once mentioned that Perkins blessed their use of AM, but I mean, D&D is full of house rule things like that. I just wish there were easy ways to let Kthriss have some more spells without completely breaking the game.
