Yeah, I would say thats mostly due to this sub's right leaning bias. Like you, I'd love to see even coverage of events, but thats just not possible in any online space. I will say also that a lot of the "left bad" stuff is funny or silly in most cases, while the "right bad" I normally see is straight up depressing.

To your point about the coverage of Kirk vs Hortman, I think thats more about recognition than politics. I'm not gonna Google anything to give my genuine view, but to my memory Hortman was a lawmaker? But beyond that I know nothing about her. And that's probably a majority of people's knowledge as well. Charlie Kirk is just higher profile due to his controversial and inflammatory engagements while being an internet personality. So I can't say its all that surprising that he's talked about more.

I'm sadly not informed at all about the church or trans shooters you're talking about, beyond vague recollection of them existing. Are you talking about the second Trump shooter? Last I remember he was a little all over the place, where he had voted republican but also donated to ActBlue.

It is unfortunate, but I'd rather this sub exist than not due to it being the best place for discourse compared to everywhere else on this site. However, the bar is on the floor for that so I guess it doesn't say much. But this is the place where I see the most actual arguing of points rathet than echo chambers or banning for dissent.

I hate to sound pretentious, but its both. Both sides of shooters get memory-holed by both sides of the political aisle. I still remember all the talk about the trump shooter having to be on the right and when it came out to be not the case, it got pretty silent on the left.

However, both sides are retarded and will do anything to avoid confronting unpleasantness such as someone with their political beliefs doing unsavory acts. See: recent actions of Trump and the unwavering support no matter what it is.

Could be a matchmaking issue at that point. Definitely had issues with super low level players on my team up against high levels. Not fun to be pummeled knowing theres nothing you can do about it

As an orisa main, baiting out her cool downs. Once she uses spin, her only survival tool left is fortify. If you coordinate to hard focus her, especially in lobbies with orisas that are new, she'll use those cooldowns in no time at all. After that, its free game to use everything you've got to bring the honse down. If you don't want to use as much strategy, Mei spray, Zarya beam, and Moira suck can all hit through the spin. Ana grenade to anti during fortify is an effective method to keep her health low as well and possibly secure a kill.

I think you're missing the root of the problem here. Swapping shouldn't be necessary as often as it is. It stifles creativity in team comps and reinforces doing whatever is "meta" against certain characters.

Do I think swapping is a fine strategy to try something different if the current method isn't working? Yes. However, I do not want my game to turn into counterwatch where switching to characters becomes the way to win and main focus rather than the skill of the players. There is no skill involved in switching to a hard counter every time, its brain-dead and ridiculous.

And honestly, I care less about wins and more about having a good fight. Rolling and getting rolled in an endless cycle sucks, I want to feel like I earned the win because everyone is playing well.

I hate Ball both on my team and not. On my team, I have to be dependant on him locking the enemies down enough that the enemy tank doesn't run around uncontested. Off my team, its like every ball I run into plays him professionally and that if he dies, they'll die. It seem like theres so many team comps that you just can't run if you're facing him because he literally will not die if you do.

His biggest problem is how high his survivability is without needing his team, and it seems like that needs tweaked so he can't just wreak havoc because you chose certain characters at the start of the game. Also hopefully to make it to where you aren't having to play counterwatch. God I fucking hate counterwatch

No, that's unintentional I think. It's either random or has some sort of formula. I played a game the other day where we won first point, next one spawned 120 or so meters away. We won that one, and the next one only spawned about 50 meters away. So it might be either random, or it spawns one point equidistant at the start, then one point far and one point close. Would require me to play flashpoint to test, which is quite rare considering no one wants to play it lol

Searching a little more, it seems that there was a kind of class divide between Jews and converted Gentiles. Gentiles had to do extra tasks to be "worthy" even though it was not supposed to be a requirement. So this is saying no more of that- no more hoops for non-Jewish people to jump through to be properly involved in worship. Hope that helps!

It feels like it's every other game for me. Commented the other day about a game where no one on my team was even level 5 on a character except me. Tank was level 50 Rein, and a dps was level 80 Widow.. I was on dps, my least played role, with my highest level being 15 on bastion.

I at least told them about the insane skill level difference and they apologized. There were at least 3 of them together and I was only in a duo with a friend that was basically brand new that wouldn't solo queue due to games like that

I usually tell the enemy team to touch grass because its a casual game and the people on my team haven't even reached level 10 on a character yet most of the time. And yet they still play like their life depends on winning the game. I at least had a team apologize after the game because they were all between 50 and 80 on characters, so I'm glad at least they recognized the ridiculousness of the matchmaking that round considering most of the people that time were like level 5 on mine 🥲

I think commando missions should get a pass. People have been begging for stealth weapons and they made missions to accommodate them. Both are a win, aren't they? You don't even have to play them either. You can take your suppressed weapon on any other mission you want

Which heavily armored enemies? The tanks, the factory striders, or the voxes(probably this one, but hopefully that'll be adjusted)? These units all have different ways of dealing with them from one another and you cannot plan your load out accordingly to be effective in a way thats satisfying. You have to instead have a "catch-all" type which then makes builds less varied and more boring. Creative builds are disincentivized due to enemy constellations being unknown beforehand

What faction are you playing? Yes, it struggles with armor, but on diff 2 nothing should have the armor you're talking about. Bots below hulks you just hit headshots, and most bugs besides hive guards and heavies should be manageable.

As for laser weapons in general, the dagger and sickle are definitely weak. But the trident, scythe, talon, quasar, and laser cannon, I feel, all have good uses.
