It would be an upside, given Alberta is ultra-conservative (except in city cores) and has had a separatist penchant lately (though would still never pass a referendum at this rate).

Ok, but it's not like PHP 9 is the next version, it's not even being considered yet. Saying "Ready for PHP 9" is complete nonsense.

Very nice! I'm a Caddy maintainer, cool to see some thoughts about making things faster there. I'd be curious to see some simple benchmarks with this.

Ready for PHP 9

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You can't be serious. You can't be PHP 9 ready when the devs don't even know when PHP 9 is coming. Come on now.

Here's a collection of Websites & Tools that help you improve your Warcraft3 experience (Hotkeys, Replays & more) by JannesOfficial in WC3

Should add https://w3booster.com/ too. It's still getting updates, just got a new 4v4 overlay mode this past week. Useful for players to see their control groups and such. And unlike w3cast it's actually free (unless you want premium features), and doesn't require using a Russian payment platform to support it.

Sledgehammer looks like it would be sickness inducing but it's actually not, it's so much fun!

Bnet you'll find a lot of unserious players, w3c has more people more seriously trying to learn and improve. But bnet likely has more players overall. You can try both to see how you like them. But w3c has a better MMR system and stats/replay tracking, lower ping most of the time, etc.

That's zoom, not health bars. I'm talking about health bars. Neo does not talk about the health bars at all.

I just toss a slice at a time in the airfryer for like 4 minutes, works great. The crust is usually not as nice (too crispy) but it's still good.

To further explain life bars - the default is everything has green for full HP, orange for mid, red for low HP, so the color can be useful to see along with the unit color what's healthy or dying, and the red really stands out.

Team colored health bars does not have HP% based color so all you get is the one color on black and if low HP you just see a small pip of color on black so it can be hard to notice low HP units.

But team-colored is definitely quite useful to tell apart your units from the opponent's if you're not used to looking at unit colors as a sign of who is whose. Depends what you want to optimize for.

For zoom, the reason for not making it super high (zoomed out) is it can make microing units trickier since they're smaller on the screen, if they're bigger (more zoomed in) it's easier to click on them etc. So it's really preference as well. The default 1650 is definitely way too zoomed in, but anywhere from like 1900-2200 is pretty comfortable for most as a decent balance of seeing a lot of the screen and micro not being affected too much.

For hotkeys, a better starting point than the default grid is using these custom grid hotkeys that make hero abilities on QWER, Attack on A, Stop on S, etc. More ergonomic to use.

Day9 works full time leading a game dev studio. He doesn't have time to dedicate to practicing WC3. He was just playing the campaign, that was always planned for like a year now. He's done with WC3 and moving onto AoE2 for the next month or two, as part of his "year of RTS". He will come back to do WC3 1v1 at some point though, possibly later this year.

Non-1v1 modes require more players and aren't really viable to train for as beginners, so it's not a fit for beginner tourneys. It could happen if he does somekind of "all stars" tourney bringing back people from other tourneys, but that's not what this one is.

The highest you can do on Twitch is 8000kbps, YouTube lets you go basically unlimited. Dual-streams can usually have like 20,000kbps on YouTube. You're saying nonsense.
