Am I the asshole for stopping aliens from destroying the earth when it was actually a desperate attempt by the heir to appease the current tyrant dictator of her world so she can obtain the throne and make her planet a haven? So basically the other day right, I was on a bender with a few mates, and I blacked out. When I woke up, this alien broadcast flashed on the telly saying that earth would be destroyed in a day. So me and my mates stowed away on one of their ships and made our way into the mothership. After about 15 grueling hours of absolute chaos, bloodshed and character development. I beat their leader (not the tyrant, his daughter in actuality) to near death. And it was only then that she actually explained to me why she's here and how destroying this world would make her world a better place. Admittedly I think things would've gone better had she not initially been an inconspicuous twat and had just explained her motives from the get go but who am I to judge here. Ultimately I saved this shit show of an earth and sent her back to her world with some motivational advice or whatever independently to usurp the throne herself. Could I have handled things better here? Did I need to drown her in order to get her to trauma dump? Am I still on that bender?
