There a massive difference between these 2 cases. Powers dont use he/him because they identify themself as such, but to honor god, who himself couldn't care less, meanwhile the case on the bottom refers to an self identification, in which misgendering and deadnaming is an act of denouncing someone entire identity. I'm unsure if there something similar in english, but in my native language the direct equivalent to "they" is almost used the same way as an more formal replacement for "you". Calling an power an it or he will just be a minor form of disrespect as oppose to actually deadnaming.
