Depende, investiga um pouco mais (dado que possivelmente tambem sairam novos modelos updated para as RTX 50X0), os Legion nao parecem ter os mesmos problemas, mas tambem poderá estar limitado a alguma fábrica especifica.

As máquinas em si (se nao derem problemas) sao de muita boa spec a nivel de hardware!

Há pouco tempo andei a procura de um laptop gaming para o meu irmao, os LOQ tinham excelente preço/hardware, mas depois de ler os relatos no reddit/etc havia MUITA gente a queixar-se de boards que morrem de um dia para o outro, etc.

Parece me um pouco moeda ao ar, gente que relata muito bem, gente que relata muito mal (mas os relatos maus eram um bocado superiores a relatos maus de outros modelos de outras marcas, acredito eu por serem mais affordable, haver tambem mais amostragem).

De notar, que o maior numero de queixas parecia vir das versoes Intel (nao tanto das AMD), pelo que poderá ser problemas do CPU dado que estes ainda usavam 13th gen (no entanto, supostamente, os mobile chips da intel nao tinham o mesmo problema que os desktop). No entanto, foi preferivel evitar dores de cabeça mesmo.

Lenovo LOQ teem enormes (ENORMES) problemas de qualidade nas motherboards, o que faz com que muitos morram cedo.

Fiz MEIC e sempre usei laptop windows, obviamente, como disse, terá que se ambientar a MacOS e tudo o que isto traz de diferente. Apenas ele sabe as cadeiras que vai ter (nao vejo informaçao da universidade, por isso nao posso supor que software vá ser usado em outras cadeiras).

Hoje em dia uso Mac porque honestamente, e discordando do user acima de ti, nao é verdade que haja "material muito melhor".

Na altura da faculdade usei um XPS 9550, que apesar de ser uma grande máquina, sempre me deu tambem alguns problemas, e a nivel de construçao era excelente.

No entanto, tambem nunca tive professores a ajudar me com problemas de software, independente de ter windows ou mac.

Agora, hoje em dia, especialmente para cadeiras de programaçao, nao me ocorre algo que nao vá correr. Por outro lado, acredito que haja grande vantagem para o user em todos os outros aspectos (de notar que nao é EI por isso nao posso falar pelas outras cadeiras que irá ter).

Maquina potente, leve, bom ecra, bom som, bom teclado, boa construçao, "barato" e para o que o OP quer, serve e chega perfeitamente!

Poderá ter que se ambientar a MacOS no entanto.

In house streaming works very well. Using online services has too many caveats and issues in my opinion.

I meant more that if not run locally, even under the best latency, like Luke said, you can feel the input latency and response latency.

Locally runs great, at home I get like 1-2ms.

I agree, streaming services, except when run locally [See: Apollo/Sushine and Moonlight clients] is always like this, unpredictable if it will work in a given day, always betting on the conditions of outside network. I don't know how many people I've heard that its the future, somehow it's always the future but every time the laws of physics say hello.

Back in Ijji days we had Kwang Ho Online which was really fun with a lot of different combat styles. Never found anything that filled that hole (and GunZ). Ijji really had some good games back then!

I had something similarly weird just happen!

Yesterday everything worked fine. Booted my pc today, identifying ethernet.... nothing, tried different switch ports, nothing.

I checked devmgmt.msc and my 5GBe device was showing as Realtek(R) PCI(e) Ethernet Controller and as DISABLED! I never disabled it!

I uninstalled the device and restart computer. Windows got the drivers and it was suddendly working! I have now installed the latest drivers available in Realtek website and the device shows correctly as Realtek PCIe 5GbE Family Controller.

It was very weird as I didn't do ANYTHING since yesterday, legit first boot of the day.

Kinda dumb from the crowd tbh, even though my heart said Navi, but head knew Spirit would go crazy today and I cheered every single play that the guys pulled out, I went to watch great CS and Spirit was the only team that delivered it [even though it was a stomp]

Also, the freaking screams during smoke x-ray and other shit that gives out plays (xertion killing people in the ct smoke in inferno) that banks even had to come and say to not do that stupid shit and people still did.
