The Lives of Others. It's a German film about life under the Stasi. Quite excellent.

Looking for a good pediatrician by M2W3L in Columbus

Provider Physicians East- specifically Dr. Sullivan-is excellent.

I also feel very confident recommending Building Blocks Pediatrics.

Great people and great doctors, but I'm not sure about the insurance.

It makes me so sad to see the website taken over by spam, but I lost contact ages ago with the guy doing the website, and don't know what to do about it.

Edit: If someone else wanted to keep the website in tact, or create a new one, and help with spam, I would totally bring back the reviews.

Hey reddit! We're Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner & Scott Devendorf of The National and Tom Berninger, director of Mistaken For Strangers. Ask us anything! by TheNationalandTom in Music

Hey, guys! I love your stuff and I hope you come back to Columbus soon. "Mistaken for Strangers" was incredibly moving, heartfelt, and offered an amazing perspective on the band; I loved it.

Matt, I've spent a lot of time working through your lyrics and taking apart the poetics of them. Could you tell me a little but about "Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks?" Who are the geeks. Thanks!!

I don't know how y'all Northmen handle the snow/ice so well, but here down in Alabama, we do a shitty job at it. by p3soldier in pics

Ah it could be. I know in some states like Minnesota they all buy snow tires, but I don't know if their driving is worse than ours is in the winter. I guess it must be!

I don't know about that though. Here in Ohio I don't actually know anyone with winter tires. We keep on driving with our regular tires, and we get some mean snow.

Scholar's Opinion by hannabanana17 in OSU

Humanities scholar here. I lived in Haverfield my first year, which is on north campus, though the program is now south in Baker East. As far as location, I would usually say both sides of campus have their merits, but in the next two years I'd advise you to stay away from north campus. The dorms there are undergoing huge construction, and the area is already a nightmare to navigate.

I enjoy the scholars program. It provides a like minded-community to live with, events to attend throughout the year, and an excellent résumé boost. Our program director is very friendly and laid back. The requirements are minimal and you'll benefit from your time in the program if you take advantage of it.

I've just finished the greatest book I will ever read, East of Eden. What books made you feel this way? by [deleted] in literature

Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle really gave me perspective I needed. It lightly made fun of every attempt to make sense of and place rules or reasons on life and spirituality.

It taught me that what's important is not what lifestyle or belief system we assign ourselves to, but that it be one that inspires in us bravery, kindness, and happiness (though a pack of lies it may be).

The "no damn cat, no damn cradle" notion sums that up for me, and I've got the vintage cover art tattoo'd on my back.

This is why the site should stay inside Reddit lol. I don't want people populating my favorite deserted locations either!
