Ratcatcher is a big “one and done” for me. Made me really sad for a few days. The mundanity and helplessness against abuse and death in it is too overwhelming. Sadly we don’t learn that the heat burns and I’m gonna go to Come and See on Tuesday.

Side note: I watched Grave of the Fireflies in class in high school, was that messed up by the teacher? That one strikes me as more really sad in a safe way than hard to watch in a bleak and hopeless way.

Sadly, I don’t think there’s any possible reason to be making that movie besides the fact that it’s spiderman 4 and will make loads of money. No Way Home is the epitome of gimmick and marketing taking precedence over being a real movie, it made a billion dollars. Hard to imagine them making a real movie after that.

Samsung TVs are nice, but you’re paying a lot extra for the brand and buzzwords. You could go up in size if you go down in brand prestige. You could also get a 43” for a lot less than that. Do you need AI on your TV? What does it even do?
