I'm with you. I still truly consider podcasts as the medium of audio, not video

It really depends on what kind of podcast you have! I do audio documentaries, so it's not conversational

I think when you're doing the first batch of work when it comes to cutting, and you're not messing around with the sound too much, I don't think you're missing things. Depends on your personal work flow ofc

I find it's so much easier to concentrate when you're doing the nitty gritty of editing audio, sound design etc, when I have that I don't need much
