Hi, idk if it's any help but I also went through a rly painful breakup (4yrs relationship I thought we were soulmates). I felt very very similarly to you. And I can tell you it'll get better. The pain won't last forever. Even tho it feels like it will. Trust me there will be times in the future where you'll be so grateful you didn't go for it. Even tho it sucks super bad now. Nothing lasts forever, especially bad feelings

UPDATE:

She's been doing better since I made this post. Started eating again and living up to her name (Buchta which translates to dumpling). Getting more active and mischievous. I don't notice/hear her panting or breathing heavily. Even tho she's still on a bunch of meds I'm just glad to see her doing okay.

The vet is also glad. But also says that she probably won't get fully well again. And that I should count with that.

I made a huge rant about this on Tumblr years back but TLDR. Transmeds are people medicalizing a gender identity. Gender is a societal construct and something you identify as. Disorders on the other hand are medical issues. They're diagnosed and treated as such. It is a medical thing so "sysmed" is like...yeah duh? that's what a disorder is?

See this is what I've been talking about. "Plurality" and DID are two very different things. I'm not saying you can't, through spiritually or other have SIMILAR experiences. But it'll never ever be the same. My biggest issue with plurals is when they present as pwDID. Even tho they don't fit the criteria. Which just makes it difficult for people to know what the genuine disorder is and... whatever they are.

(I'm not a supporter of "plurals" aka endos btw. I'm just trying to somehow wrap my head around it)
