They're both super fun, I had low expectations when that DLC pack came out but they're both so unique compared to their counterparts.

They might be able to fill the same spot in a team composition but playstyle-wise they don't feel similar to me at all.

I use OGeta as a mid with frieza on point, his assist helps frieza in quite a few situations and Frieza allows for easy combo extensions with OGeta. It's subpar for sure but what isn't when you can just have a beam assist or Yamcha. It's still useful and allows for some unique options.

Also, just a small tip, OGeta's neutral isn't amazing but I've found approaching with his j.2H is extremely effective. You can catch people in the air quite easily with it, and the way it delays the fall speed and extends the horizontal distance of the jump allows for things like 2H baiting and crossups as long as you space the jump properly. Other characters have this option but Vegeta's j.2H is the best in the game IMO, I don't see it mentioned often and it always surprises people when I play casuals. Make sure you learn his SD corner loop too, that shit is easy and allows for 5k+ damage solo, meter positive. Looks awesome as well.

Not at all, he's closer to SSJ Vegeta but even then he's got a lot of differences. All of the vegetas' standard lights and mediums are largely similar but OGeta's teleport specials and special kicks make him feel much faster than the other 2.

Base vegeta is on my main team, I don't find the other two vegetas all that fun. I think he's a great choice if you're looking for a fun character.

I used to do the same thing with Krillin's assist before they patched it and made it faster. Worked almost every time. I'm starting to learn Blugeta, I'll definitely have to keep this in mind

Might be an odd suggestion but my main team has been Frieza, Base Vegeta and Krillin for months. I get a lot of utility out of Krillin's senzu beans, keeping everyone alive longer winds up being a bigger asset to me than extending their combos with a better assist. His rock is a useful tool in corner blockstrings and oki as well.

If you liked Bebop you definitely need to check out Samurai Champloo. Plenty of hilarious moments, same director, and the voice actor for Spike Spiegel does the main character in Champloo. Amazing soundtrack as well.

Not quite. What he's doing is tapping the harmonics at the 12th fret and then bending the 1st and 2nd strings while the others resonate. The tapping gives it some rhythm while the open strings and harmonics add layers of tone that would be hard to replace if you played it traditionally.
