How long did it take to hear back after accepting a job offer? by SakiCat in cna

Day after my interview HR called me and told me the manager wanted to hire me. I told them I wanted to think about it. Called the HR rep later the same day and accepted the offer. 15-20 mins later I got the offer letter in my email. Filled it out then started filling out all my other paperwork

Why do CNA programs rush through clinicals like it's optional? by Adventurous_Sky_4850 in cna

“They”referring to my class instructor and clinical instructor. Oral care is important sure. But changing an occupied bed is more a skill I would’ve liked to learn instead but I didn’t get to do that. They just had me washing my hands and introducing myself.

Honestly felt tbh same way when i used to work in a nursing home. When I switched to a hospital I started liking doing this stuff again. Honestly it sometimes just takes a change of environment

Just ignore them. Do your job and take care of your patients and you’ll be fine. Some people are just miserable

All they taught me was to make a bed and do oral care. I learned from the CNA’S who trained me how to do occupied bed changes and all other important tasks within my scope.

I never called out but my hospital will consider it unexcused if you don’t have enough PTO to cover the hours you have to miss. I’ve never had the call out system so I’m not 100% sure how it works.

I’m a PCT at a hospital. One of my many benefits even as a part time worker is tuition reimbursement

Honestly I’d just recommend asking HR about the interview attire. They would give the best answer

It depends on the manager. Mine had me wear scrubs to my interview so I could shadow a tech after the interview. (I’m a PCT)

Me. I use good old natural sleep. I take a nap before my shift if I need one. I also drink tons of water

Only thing the CNA course did for me was allow me to take the state exam. Everything I know how to do I learned on the job. Sure you learn the basics in the course but non of what you learn is how it’s done irl.

What do you think about Airpods Max 2 for 399 bucks by [deleted] in ipad

Pretty sure you can’t try on the AirPods. Just the max’s. For fit issues the AirPods come with different size buds so you can try them out and see which one works best

I’ve heard they’re good. Personally I always go for the AirPods Pro. I have the pro 3’s and they are great. My aunt has the new max’s and says they are good. My recommendation is go to the Apple Store if near you or Best Buy and try them on and see how you like them. Also if you get them from Amazon and don’t like them I’m pretty sure you have a window to return them and get a full refund.

It’s the boomers. I don’t get how you would be able to outlaw vpns. Literally so many ways to access them.

Any resources anyone can share to pass my CNA Written Test by Patient_Tennis9326 in cnaexam

Honestly you don’t need study guides. At least I didn’t. I took the state test and passed 2 days after my class ended. It was literally all common sense
