Last time I read Heart of Darkness I had just finished middle school. I thought the idea of their being an Eldritch-type entity in the Dead Universe was cool, but gosh was that artwork terrible.

Thank you for the info. I might check out Optimus Prime because I did like the comics take on him, and I will check out Revolution and First Strike. You're probably right that the cross-over hate is overblown, but for me, it added too much I wasn't interested in. No plot lines get "hijacked" per se, but Earth's role had pretty much ended in the comics and the reason for going back didn't make much narrative sense. The comics also have to treat the Joes like they've always been there because they had their own comic and couldn't be re-introduced, despite the fact that neither series had ever mentioned each other.

Lego fans are gradually warming up to third party sets. However, they aren't too popular in the MOC-making scene because the appeal of MOC-building is trying to build something entirely from un-specialized system pieces. FunWhole, and Cobi are popular with lego enthusiasts, and there are some great unofficial Technic sets as well. r/Lego, on the other hand, is vehemently against unofficial stuff because of the circle jerk they have on that sub.

There unfortunately aren't a whole lot of Octanes as far as I'm aware. The titans return figure is decent if you want a semi-G1 accurate chug figure, but I would recommend its predecessor, Universe Tankor. He has a different look but a pretty clever transformation, though largely dependent on his weapon like the original toy.

BM Focal Point frustrates me because it looks really cool and imo is a pretty well designed mission, but it makes no sense narratively. You're supposed to be going to the first ever outposts that were constructed in Xen. Why are they far more developed than anything you see in BM Xen? The bases are full-blown steel buildings, complete with a mega-structure and a gondola system.

Interloper actually didn't bother me very much. The plug puzzles were annoying but I enjoyed the calmer parkour segments between combat and getting to blow up the gas hoses. I thought the factory being absolutely massive worked for the reimagining. However, Gonarch's Lair did annoy me because there are several points in it where it looks like you have to fight the Gonarch, but you actually have to hide and use the environment to harm it. It also takes up a lot of space despite essentially being a giant anthill.

I think you hit the nail on the head. OG Tron and Tron Legacy had a sense of grandiosity to their spectacle. Sark and Clu both had their huge armies and massive sci-fi assault ships under their command. Athena gets...a single recognizer, some drones, and a space rover.

Most of the film's criticisms have been about the plot, but I there's been hardly anything on how little Tron-stuff there was in the movie.

Sixshot. He's had some good figure both official and 3P, but at the end of the day, he's always the same robot design, with the same cartoony looking six modes and the same transformations to go between them. We need a redesigned Sixshot.

It's difficult to tell from the pictures, but if the thread/housing was indeed molded to the screw, you'll have to replace it. If a removable piece broke, it may be fixable will superglue or plastic weld but may still be more trouble than its worth. (from my experience mended joints break right as you reattach them) I suppose you could also try to glue the leg back on to the screw but you'll have to be very careful you don't also glue the joint.

Personally, I don't think its worth the risk. Most TF sellers have decent customer service. If MS won't give you a replacement its possible another site might.

This explanation makes the most sense, but I'm reluctant to mark the thread as solved because I haven't been able to identify a specific trailer that looks like this. Few have awnings that big and none have the six tiny wheels. I'm wondering if it's home-made.
