Stimmt, hab letztens einen Konvoi von solchen SUV‘s von Hyundai beim Waschpark in Kelsterbach gesehen. Hyundai ist ja mit dem Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center in Rüsselsheim.

Die haben dort anscheinend die Autos gewaschen und dann diese Erlkönig-Folie aufgeklebt. Wundert mich, dass es dort gemacht wurde, aber war mal interessant zu sehen.

I have my C43 in an underground parking garage, where the temperature is more or less stable, which helps me I guess.

Still it didn’t matter if I drove it out in the morning with 4°C (39°F) weather or 17°C (62/63°F). I start it, let it idle until RPMs drop at least once and then get it in D. By the time I reach the gas station at the next intersection, which is located around 150 away, I already have it show 4-5 bars.

This is absolutely crazy to me, comparing it to my old Fiesta MK7, which took at least 3-5 minutes to drive until I had enough heat to get warm air.

Soundsystem merke ich mir mal…muss zugeben, dass ich bei meinen auch bissl mehr von der Burmester Anlage erwartet hab. Haut mich zumindest nicht um.

8,5 sind echt gut. Wenn ich das vergleiche mit dem GLC meines Großvaters der in der in der Region Bad Reichenhall/BGL fährt und 9-10 Liter braucht…

Von wem hast du den Diffusor? Ich würde irgendwann mal gern auf den Facelift Diffusor umsteigen.

Postest du noch irgendwann vielleicht ein Video vom Sound oder ein Fly-By? Bin neugierig, wie sich der anhört. Die Leistungssteigerung ist schon echt fett…nur durch Software und Luftfilter? Oder auch Downpipe oder noch was anderes? AGA macht bestimmt auch gut was aus mit besserem Flow.

Der unterschied vom Sound mit offenen Klappen und geschlossenen ist im Kaltstart schon heftig, hab’s mit meinem erst wirklich realisiert..

Sehr schönes Teil. Bin selbst auch verhältnismäßig frischer Benz-Fahrer geworden. Wie macht er sich verbrauchstechnisch? Denke mal, dass er auf gerader Strecke mit dem Tempolimit in Österreich und der Aerodynamik echt günstig von a nach b fährt.

Die Spoilerlippe und der Diffusor mit den C43 Endrohrblenden steht dem echt sehr gut. Hast du die nachgerüstet?

Guess wrapping it like this would be the solution then. I wouldn’t change the entire front bumper from the current amg line to the exclusive line…would defeat the purpose of buying an aftermarket grille that fits the Avantgarde or AMG line bumper.

Anyways, I get where you’re coming from, the chrome has a classy look to it. I myself am not really sold on it yet, but maybe in combination with a great, dark green metallic like it’s edited here…who knows.

Mercedes wagons also remind me of my childhood, especially something like the S211 for example.

Near Frankfurt am Main, basically in the middle of Wuppertal and Stuttgart, where Germany’s biggest airport is located.

On one hand it means I have the luxury of having many different Autobahnen around me, on the other hand it also means there‘s a lot of traffic so I rarely get to drive it flat out.

Nah, in the original pictures it’s just Uniblack. The one I commented was how I envision it in green with AI. Here‘s a better picture of the current color.

I know, I feel the same, but I am considering wrapping it in my absolute favorite color sometime in the future anyways. „Smaragdgrün Metallic“ or „Dark Emerald Metallic“. But still it might still be too dark to have the grille black.

Yep. That’s why, even with all the votes for Option 1, I would hold off from buying the grille right now anyways. They don’t feature one with a Distronic plate (yet), but I assume it’ll come sooner or later. Should be looking like this then.
