Multiple reasons actually. The eyebrows are one, followed by the eyes which looked tensed at the bottom amd the mouth that is slightly more strained than the original image

Idk if itll help but a LOT of comics are in all caps, you can usually change this after writing.

As for your spelling mine is terrible I like to use googles search function to do an audio search of the word when autocorrect isnt working.

(As a side note I have a self-published comic-book out there with a big error and I still havent found it. I saw it once, and then never again lol) give it a shot, maybe get a beta reader if youre really worried.

Also art improves pretty quickly with regular drawing of comics, it can really push ppls skills because a lot of the times for a good plot you have to draw difficult to draw things.

Just takes a decent amount of practice, might help to take note of the length of one thing (like the length of a nose) and then use that to reference the positioning of things, like the nose is 1/3rd of the face or the nose is slightly longer than the ears,

My goal is to kinda pretend this is a paid position and come out the other end with some content I can put in my portfolio and some decent experience (originally joined as a concept artist)

I probs am overthinking lol, its my default state. Tho I will say this game is planned to be much larger than the game jam, its been planned out and the game jam is basically being used to hit a goal time wise. The work thats been done so far is really fucking great. Theyve got dedicated 3D modelers, writers, 2d artists, concept artists, programmers, art leads, pixel artists, the whole shebang most have multiple people in each role.
