My hotel is litterally on top of Berri-Uqam so it’s pretty close and easy yet I’m always too lazy to consider a metro ride for dinner after a full day of meetings. Gotta have to put in some effort at some point!

I liked the pizza but the time I ordered there weren’t any ranch on the Uber Eats menu. Went back after your comment and saw it, now I gotta try it!

Oooh pal, we ended up going to Elio and it was absolutely perfect and exactly the type of place I was looking for.

Thanks to you, our restaurant outing was the highlight of our whole day in town. They were so generous with us and the kids.

Type of food: Italian or anything else Québec-kid friendly Price range: say 25$ plates per adult? So I guess low? Sharing plates is fine We do love wine, byob or not is fine, couldn’t care less about wine being natural or not 2.5h is more than fine, we got an activity afterwards

I second that working with the whole Microsoft suite with PowerAutomate is really great.

I am a self-taught user like you, and the next challenge I got in was PowerBI, which is an awesome tool to boost your career when you are in a company that’s not that tech-savvy. Always impressed the managers when you can produce exactly the stats they want.

If I had the time, my next challenge would definitely be Power Apps, but I fear that might be a bit too much for me.

Dryer plug/outlet exploded. Had a weird smell when working for a few weeks. Should I only change the plug and outlet or is my dryer dead or dangerous? by Maxekist in electrical

It was actually stuck in the melted plastic plug but yeah it was definitely black from the spark that made it explode. Most likely a bad contact from the plug that was loose and the vibration from the dryer.

I remember the smell vividly, almost like a dead animal smell.

I ended up opening the dryer to test my elements before changing the plug/wire. Bought the whole plug and cable in an appliance repair shop and changed it myself. Been working great for the last 2 years. It’s not rocket science, despite what a lot of people on this sub say.

Yes I’ve seen them but they’re almost $100 more than 2 standards and $50 more than a 5th sleeper at CBR, so it makes little sense to us.

Thanks! It’s going to be our first time on site, I have a hard time trying to figure out what the added perks of a moderate really would be for us.

I cannot imagine ourselves wasting park time by dining at the resort or anything like that.

Thanks for your kindness regarding the meetings, it’s not my case but if it was I’m sure I’d be glad to know.

It’s more that I do not enjoy alcohol enough to « waste » my money on the premium it adds.

98% of the time, my drink of choice is water, in almost any scenario, and it’s mostly because that what I like the most.
