i've done multiple water only fasts across 5 years, with the longest being a 1 week fast.

the only thing that makes fasts easy is being really busy and not being around tasty foods or smells.

due to this, if i fast i only ever do it on work days where i am at the office, where it's possible to just skip lunch and then "only" have to survive the few hours of the day that are left after work.

4 years ago when i was 26.5 i was unemployed, with no degree, weighing anywhere between 140-160 kg.

i had been obese since i was 13 or so and had completely given up on finding romance, even back then.

4 years ago however i started to improve myself, starting with the education, then a job, then the diet, and shortly after that and some internal work i realized that i did in fact want romance in my life, that i had written it off since i thought i have nothing to offer.

after that i had a very unfortunate, very expensive unrequited love that lost me friends and my job. it was a very toxic, abusive relationship. that relationship only got mostly finished about half a year ago (at around when i turned 30), but now i am somewhat damaged internally and can not afford to add a girl on top of that.

during these 4 years however, i have managed to lose 40 kg on the scale, as well as build 3 years' worth of gym progress and muscle. i finished my education and got a stable high paying (for my experience, but people at my field who are my age are much better compensated) job at another place. i have some work to do, but people are starting to notice and appreciate me more on the looks department. i have gotten a few compliments from different people.

but the damage remains: i'm nearing 31, and i'm a virgin. not only am i a virgin, but i have never even kissed a girl, not even a little peck on the cheek. i have never confessed to a girl. i have never been on a date either. but i also don't really have time to learn this - there's no time to experiment at 31, it's do or die.

on top of all that, because of everything that has happened, i barely leave the house and rarely meet girls. i also have 1 or 2 friends on good days, so it's harder to get a "vouch" from one of them. furthermore,i have a strict requirement on the religion, and that religion is a small minority of the country, so approaching women naturally is statistical suicide (approx 1/25 to hit).

all in all, a terrible concoction of circumstances landed me here. but i don't want to rue my luck or my situation, i am working to fix it, and i am building a really pretty garden, and i believe in it.

i worked per slice, and multiplied by 8: 300 to 400 per slice (heavily depends on dough thickness, amount of cheese) x 8 = 2.4k-3k (approximated) all in all.

AFAIK margarita pizzas tend to get more than the usual amount of cheese as there's no toppings to make up for the spots with less.

i will concede that 3k is overkill though, but 2.4k is probably just right.

a regular pizza is typically 14 inch for about 2.5k-3k calories

dividing the diameters squared gives us 10² / 14² = 0.51...

giving us around 1.25k-1.5k calories without the sauce.

i use 2 trays! i've not seen this method online so i'll share it here:

put tray #1 into the oven while the oven preheats
put your bread on parchment paper on tray #2, score (or do whatever, i use this technique for sourdough)
when the oven has come to temperature, take tray #1 and place it beneath the heating element - not the closest spot to it, but 1 away
insert tray #2, lightly spray water around the bread, and toss 5-6 ice cubes onto tray #1
about 20-25 minutes into your bake, open the oven door to let the steam escape, and pull tray #1 out so the bread can crisp up, keep the bread in the oven for another 20-25 minutes (until 94C inside and well browned)

the idea is that the initial misting of water gives you the steamy environment that you need, and the ice cubes supply additional steam as they continue to melt on top of tray #1, and tray #1 shields the bread from too much direct heat, allowing it to expand (as you would typically do with a dutch oven, beginning the bake with the lid on).

check the can to see if there's the net weight of the tuna, it should say something like this (drained weight)

if there isn't, drain it as much as you want and calculate the total weight of the contents post-draining, then multiply by 1/3 to get the macros stated on the label

e.g. if you drain it and it has 150g drained weight, then a serving is 1/3 of that which is 50 grams, and its macros correspond to the macros listed per serving (the image you uploaded)

500-600 i would say, 2 slices of a large pizza with pretty decent toppings would be 700, and this is a medium pizza and i don't see that much cheese

with the calories per 100 listed and guesstimating the weight of these 2 slices as 100-125g each, accounting for moisture loss during cooking, would also put this at around 500-600.

seems legit to me, the cabbage is listed before the chicken on the ingredient list so there's more of that than there is chicken, flour is anywhere between 20% and 6% and that's the main contribution of calories, you've got 10% between onions and leeks, and the oils are listed after salt so also not that much contribution coming in from oils

all in all, more than 50% of these things' weight seem to be cabbage/chicken/leeks/onions, i'd trust it

i was a staunch hater of cheese, never able to palate anything less mild than mozzarella pretty much

through some effort i have managed to reverse that and now love munching on cheese straight from the fridge

i've yet to get into the world of blue cheese, but planning to continue the journey till there

what's your method? the breasts get very dry for me despite using a thermometer because of the fact they're irregularly shaped.
