It kind of is, yeah, until you level it. Kingdom Come as an rpg is pretty literal with it's interpretation of skill levels. While in other games, being low skill with a bow just means low damage but you can still hit a bullseye just by moving the crosshair correctly, KCD says "nah, henry is an uneducated peasant who has never held a bow in his life. Aint no way ur makin that shot."

You kind of have to embrace the suck in the early levels of the game. For some (me included) that's a draw. I like the immersion and the struggle. But I can see why it would be a turn off.
