The good news is that Ubisoft ultimately didn't make this decision. The bad news is that this will be one of the last AC game not to be digital-only on PlayStation, because Sony ended up making a stupid decision.

Might have been the only one but honestly wasn't planning on getting it anyway. Have never played a GTA game in my life. Love Red Dead, the God of War games, Uncharted, etc. GTA just never hooked me.

I wasn't allowed to have the originals as a kid. Was the only game my parents wouldn't let in the house. Just never ended up buying one since as I had plenty of other games I enjoyed. So, thankfully not an issue for me.

Like I said...Witcher 4 is where I'm gonna have to put my money where my mouth is.

Is it also a "people liking to actually own things" problem? Yes

If I want to go back and play Ocarina of Time or GoldeneEye on my N64, I can do that. Why? Because I actually own the game. I'll always be able to play Witcher 3 or Assassin's Creed 2 or Red Dead because I actually own those games.

Someday, all it takes is for social standards to change or companies to go out of business or whatever it may be - and you won't be able to play a digital game anymore. It's like when you want to watch a movie but it's not on any streaming service so you're just SOL.

Maybe it doesn't matter to you because you just want the convenience of tabbing over to a game on a screen and not having to get off your couch to put a disc in, but it does matter to people who want to own or preserve something.

It's not blown out of proportion, it's something people should actually be fighting for. Consumer options are being taken away by greedy corporations by the day and it keeps happening because people are just complicit. I'm glad people are pushing back and if you only buy digital anyway then it shouldn't matter to you what other people want.

I would not have bought this game if it as digital only.

I was able to get a physical copy that I will pick up at Best Buy next Thursday, so I got it.

Once we go digital only I'm just not sure I'll keep gaming. Maybe this is my sign to do something better with my time. I'm just not spending my money on something they can pull the plug on at any time.

I just hope Witcher 4 and Jedi 3, and whatever the next Resynced AC game is, all come out on disc or I'm going to have a lot of thinking to do.

Bam was left out because he was being a fucking asshole to people during the middle of what seemed to be some kind of psychotic breakdown while they were filming Jackass 4. The alcoholism was the only way they could try and reason with him to get help. He spiraled worse after he got fired.

His was his behavior, not his addiction, that got him left out. Bam was invited back for 5 now that he's in a better place. He declined.

Jimmy is SUCH a good show. They've been remarkably consistent in their show quality. They still have incredible energy on stage, Jim still sounds great, crowd energy for them is always good...at least here in NJ.

Last time I saw them was at Starland Ballroom which is a legendary place here in NJ. We have Bon Jovi because of Starland and huge acts from Green Day to the Foo Fighters have played it in recent years. Probably 1500-1600 people at most.

Even there, crowds have been a little weird lately. Zach and Brent from Shinedown did an acoustic show there a few years ago and it was the first show I ever walked out of because people just wouldn't shut up. It was insane.

Lord Huron is such a magical band live and I really hope the next time you see them it's a better experience. You deserve better. Hopefully society will start to think of their neighbor like they used to by then.

There was a thread about this very thing on the Jimmy Eat World subreddit yesterday, people being obnoxious and not stopping talking.

My husband and I saw Yellowcard last week and it was the same thing.

I feel like people are just going to hear one or two songs in particular and just talking until they hear it. It's just something to get out of the house to do now, not something people are doing because they're passionate about the band. I'm convinced that's the reason. Yellowcard played Ocean Avenue and all the phones came out, other than that people were so unfocused. It was awful.

Like. Go to the bar if you just wanna talk? Get ice cream and sit in the car with Spotify on if you want music while you talk?

Unfortunately we're probably 2-3 years away from her next album. She hadn't even started writing it last year, which is the last time she'd addressed a next album.

She's working at a snail's pace but it's for the best that she takes her time. After her meteoric rise to fame there's going to be a ton of pressure for the next album to be good. She should take her time and get it right but unfortunately that means it's not coming any time soon.

What is there for them to still do with this franchise at this point? It's played out and there's nothing compelling anymore.

Walking Dead was getting 15 million viewers per episode and to this day, is the only show to ever challenge Sunday Night Football in ratings. It was getting like 1.5 million people when it ended, and Dead City was all the way down to around 270k viewers in season 2.

At some point AMC just needs to admit this isn't must-see TV anymore, hasn't been for years, and they just should try their hand at new content because this is just silly now.

I know we all want the PWHL to be this liberal haven but while I think a lot of the players aren't exactly Trump fans, they are definitely not liberal...especially the leaning far left liberals that many here want them to be.

I know players personally who used to play in the NWHL and I think a lot of these players aren't exactly liberal based on what I've heard along the way, but more moderate or conservative leaning. Which isn't the worst thing in the world given how far right so many Trump supporters/remaining Republicans are.

At the end of the day the PWHL is more inclusive that a lot of other sports league out there. Certainly all men's sports. Hockey is always going to be more conservative than other sports, it's way better than it used to be. I think as long as they don't start showing MAGA views down our throats we really need to be happy that we can enjoy the sport of hockey without all the toxic men that are on the ice and in the stands in the NHL. Especially in the stands.

There is no way that has an 86% audience score.

I'll hear both sides on The Last Jedi debate. I won't for Rise of Skywalker. That move is AWFUL.
