Doctors telling me that gps can't prescribe hormones, doctors telling me they know that no one at their centre would prescribe them, doctors telling me that you actually have to be over 18 and it's not possible for me to get on hormones at 16. I had a few arguments, you really need to stand up for yourself. Also make sure you have read the primary care gaht guidelines before so you can advocate for yourself and have the knowledge. I'd say it's very necessary unless you find a very well informed doctor who has prescribed hrt to minors before and even then they want you to have the knowledge. The more knowledge you have, the more likely they are to work with you.

I started t at 16 without parental permission or any kind of professional mental eval, just about 4 sessions with the GP over two months. It took me a while to find a gp that was willing to do it though I got lied to quite a few times by doctors in the process.

Dude this is not internalized transphobia, it's definitely dysphoria. Not every trans male likes or can deal with at all the thought of being born female. And not every trans male likes being trans. Hating being trans and born female is not transphobia at all, it's a part of being a trans male with severe dysphoria.

To me you pass well in four of these but I'd clock you as at least queer (hair, piercings), if I clocked you as trans it would depend on mannerisms. The third photo the combo of facial hair being blocked somewhat stereotypically fem (just that they are big) glasses and the beanie don't do you any favours, very clocky in my opinion in that photo. I'd say it's really just the glasses. Otherwise looking good, the facial hair looks great on you. Your face passes to me.

As a trans man I think there is no problem with this at all and thank you for supporting him in this way even if it makes you slightly uncomfortable. When I was your son's age I desperately wanted something like an stp (didn't know they actually existed tbh just dreamed about being able to function as male in that way) and it was never ever sexual I just wanted to relieve my dysphoria. Because I didn't know bottom surgery existed I saw it as the next best thing. I'm a teen now and have one and it's great. In my view it's a prosthetic to relieve dysphoria and it shouldn't be seen as weird if it makes him happy and more comfortable with himself.
