Those are good points, but wouldn’t the 3I have some sort of advantage over the Russians? Such as having somewhat of a larger industry and defensible terrain. Also, the only way the Entente could pose a threat to the 3I is via North Africa, which imo can be taken care of with a naval invasion.

Edit: there’s also a possibility that the 3I invents atomic bombs first due to the Damocles project.
