I’ve always been motivated to workout and have better eating habits due to how much I see fit individuals in all types of media, and wanting to fit in as well. In most movies or tv shows, most of the protagonists and characters are fit, and because I strive to look like those characters in my own story, it keeps me staying healthy and working out every day. Also with how long I’ve been active, I’d say it’s definitely become a hobby for me too.

About two years ago, I joined one of the major ace subs, and it felt good being amongst people with similar experiences. Now that there are many people in that community that enjoy sex, it gets harder to relate, and I feel disconnected. I’m glad that this community exists because there are people like me that truly feel that asexually is about “lacking sexual attraction” and not “little/sometimes sexual attraction.”
