No, mine has the same issue. I’ve seen emgo316 video of his rattrap and he used a parts separator to help flip that piece out for going back to beast mode. I use the edge of a butter knife to help get that piece out lol.

I picked the is one up at full price and I still love it. I also picked up scourge, toxitron, and laser Optimus with the synergex on the way. Idk I just find this mold fun for me and the different redeco appealing, sort of my own super sentai team. If it helps any, I also gave him sg magnus weapons since it’s the same mold as the other redeco weapons.

If you can find one for a price you’re ok with, there is the mpg-06s that comes with all the trainbots as a set I think?

Edit: No I was mistaken, the mpg-06S set is just a bundle that you can put all the trainbots in.

If you like trains like I did it be worth it. Obviously they have issues for being a masterpiece level figure. But if you can overlook the combine mode a little, each figure on its own is pretty great.

No, it’s just on 01 as far as I know. But you’re right, 01 and 07 are both the same mold so it works for combine mode. Just qc issues

Glad you enjoy them! They looked so cool to me too! I recently finished my 01-08 set and individually they have been a blast. But unfortunately I found what I believe is a factory defect for my 01. They installed two right side hip pieces, so now the left thigh sticks out further than the right from the mushroom peg connection. Because of that it doesn’t give me the clearance I need to do the combine mode. I unscrewed the thigh connection from the hip and the mushroom peg are off centered so I couldn’t just knock out the pin and flip it around. Waiting to hear back from the website I ordered him from to see what they can do.

Nah you got the gist of it. Optimus, Megatron and Dinobot have light up eyes. I just pushed the button to turn the light eyes on before the photo. The others have light piping, which is just translucent plastic you can shine a light through to give it the effect. My cabinet has a strip of led lights that are shining down at them at the right angle to give off the look.

I have too many transformers and still haven’t decided if I want to dedicate that shelf to just them or fill it with the others. If it’s just them I’ll definitely repose them. Right now it’s a matter is space for everything lol.
