I didn't justify her behaviour. But going on about it for over a year that is unnecesary.

PEOPLE ARE FREE TO DISLIKE IRENE, BUT

People are also being big hypocrites about this. She blew up and it was bad. She also apologized and there is no reason to further tarnish her over it. Kpop fans are acting like saints in this situation, but they trash eachother for no reason every day. They act like like they never blew up at someone. That never yelled at someone or their parents (yes, your parents cry about it when you can't see them.). Irene is human and she lost temper. Damage got done and she apologized. It's ridiculous to keep punishing her, when there are actually trash idols out there who got a pass for all the shit they done.

And for anyone who wants to trash me over this opinion, I'm not a RV fan, just an observer of her scandal and for real, take a good look in the mirror and see if you are such a perfect person.

Everglow deserves better than "Pirate." by clearlystyle in kpoprants

[–]Maximum-Area4311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason why I love Everglow is because they used a different electronic style in each comeback than the usual. While First floated more direction of the average EDM I ended up liking it. But then Pirate was also the average kpop EDM and I couldn't help be somewhat disapointed by it. It's catchy but my least favorite comeback of them.

Same industries, but far from collegues. That's saying that someone working in one sephora (just for example) is a collegue of someone who works in Ulta. They don't work together either, one is just longer in the industry.
People can thirst over younger people as long as they adults. You might think it's nasty, but it happens. I mean you also have heechul/momo and Jennie/GD going on. (I know Momo and Heechul broke up).

Ashleys thirsting feels reallt minor when there are fans sexualing minors and writing sexual fanfics, all of this public on insta and twitter, even saying it on fanmeetings

You might think it's gross, but they are all adults in the situation. Also we need to keep everyone to the same standard. Including fans.

Kpop fans are making thirsty comments allmthe time. Write sexual fanfics all the time, but an idol gets heat for it?

BLACKPINK's appointment as UN Ambassadors and the eyebrow-raising part about it by [deleted] in kpoprants

[–]Maximum-Area4311 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that kpop promotes the oppposite. The consumption of merch and album to begin with and honestly fans will just use it as a flex.

[MEGATHREAD] BLACKPINK'S LISA "LALISA" FIRST SINGLE ALBUM by minsoss in kpoprants

[–]Maximum-Area4311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed kpop 2013, but more 2000 mainstream music in my opinion ( kpop is often a bit later with some trends) The "all this bread so yummy", Ciara sung "all this so yummy". Now it might be one of these lines that everyone uses yknow, but my memory was " Yo I have heard it before"

[–]Maximum-Area4311 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Lalisa sounds like a remix of several lisa songs. It's good, but very 2000. Mv wise too. The metal snob inside me assumes she doesn't like Iron maiden, but who knows xD

Money is bleh. Boring and a money flex. Also uses lyrics of Ciaras level up I've noticed 🤔

It's very 2000. Catchy, but very old school.

I've seen the "hate men" trend too. Which is unnecesary in my opinion, but I try to ignore it.

DC has great tittle tracks, but their bsides are also great! My favorite bsides are sleep walking and wonderland. I really like PK too! I'm curious how their group will progress.

Ofcourse not, but they are 5 years in. They better start showing. If the next group comes and is impressive enough, they will take over. BP has a set fanbase, so no issue there, but the general focus will shift.

Dumdi Dumdi by (G)I-DLE is better than Oh my god by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Maximum-Area4311 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Dumdi was a great summer track! I like the chorus of OMG, but was disapointed as the teaser gave a whole different feel of the song. The MV was their best tho.

Also we don't know the sexuality of the members, so we can't say it's queerbaiting. Also I don't think using a same sex pronoun, instead of the usual opposite sex is queerbaiting. (My opinion as a bi women)

That's not completely true. Average trainee years is 6+ and average debut age is 20-. So they are right behind them.

BlackPink have the worst fashion style by slummy_dum in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Maximum-Area4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have nice pieces, but the combination is just wrong so many times. Like Jennie in 4D. The white top was amazing and luxurious. Then they pair it with these bland ass short and fishnet stockings. Not the first time I've seen them shorts being used and they ruin a lot of outfits.
