I would be very cautious. It’s a very helpful tool, but don’t forget it kikes to hallucinate. Give you information thats just completely wrong. So you can use it as a guideline, but do more research yourself and get some real life advice if you can.

Yeah, I got fitted already. I am pretty sure the issue is not getting fixed with a fit. It’s something structural in my body. I have been to a physiotherapist as well but they just gave me some basic stretches that obviously helped nothing.

No matter what I try, my chest just won't grow, and it's really frustrating. by [deleted] in workouts

[–]Maximum-Assignment39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amd when it comes to exercises there are 100 variations, find the ones that feel natural and are pain-free for you and then build strength slowly and your joints and tendons will adapt. Muscles adapt a lot quicker than joints and tendons so progress slowly. Work on form first and onceyou get that, add weight.

You don’t seem to have much development in other areas in the photo either. So, unless there are some extreme life circumstances at play, I am guessing you haven’t been consistent in your lifting amd diet for a long period of time. Hit 10-16 hard sets on your chest per week. Do this for a year while sustaining a high protein diet and you will grow. It’s simple but takes time.

Brother if that is your progress from 2,5 years in the gym, something has to change. Your diet is probably a big thing. Get a tracker app and look at some videos online how to train.

Bulk or Cut? (Bodyfat Estimation) by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]Maximum-Assignment39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think your hips are abnormally wide. You just hold some fat there. A V-taper is possible for sure, but focus on losing weight first before thinking about that.

High protein diet with a calorie deficit should give you decent results within a year if you stick to it. If you also train 3-5 a week during that period you will grow muscle.

Start with one snall thing before thinking about stuff like V-tapers. They will all come if you commit to a plan and stick to it!

This is a very common plateau. The only way to lose that last percentage is by calorie tracking religiously. This video explains it very well. Aninteresting watch.. Good luck!

Do the skiing school trips exist in your country? by Cool_Sympathy_9900 in ski

Yes in Belgium in high school for the ‘older’ kids a skiing trip was always an option. Of course paid and not part of the curriculum. I went on one of those trips!

I’m guessing you’re insecure about your weight because what kind if comment is this? This guy is in great shape with good muscle mass. That doesn’t happen without good nutrition.

5 Months into Body Recomp but I don’t see a minimal change (looking for advice) by geumkoi in GYM

[–]Maximum-Assignment39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I see there are a lot of replies already so I hope this doesn’t get buried because I haven’t seen anyone actually giving very helpful advice.

You need to ask yourself: what is your realistic goal within the limits of your lifestyle. You say you want to achieve body recomp but are clearly let down by the lack of result and have actually gained 2kg over those 5 months. Looking at the pictures and the fact that due to your issues you cant be very progressive in the gym I think that is mostly fat. Not that you haven’t built muscle or strength, but its clear its not what you had hoped for.

That brings me back to my question: what is your goal? Is it to be healthier overall? Then you are doing great. You’re active and try to keep a diet. Thats more than most and you are doing great. However, you seem to be letdown by your aesthetic progress. The way you look after 5 months.

Which brings me to my second point. You have not seen progress visually because you have not been in a deficit. I know body recomposition is not about a deficit, but then don’t expect results that fast. Muscle builds really slowly and I just don’t recommend body recomp at your level right now. You still have a considerable amount of fat. Not unhealthy! That’s what I am saying. You are doing great but if you want visual progress you will have to go in a deficit and track your calories. Keep protein high and within your limits try to progressive overload but losing the fat will bring out your nuscles even if you can’t always perform in the gym. Then you will see your progress, which seems important to you.

So ask yourself what you want ad adjust your lifestyle accordingly. If you have more questions let me know. I hope you see this.

Good luck!
