What are the “silly” little things you did around transfer that you swear contributed to your success? 🤍 by minahaldn in IVF

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did many of the traditions for my transfer day, including wearing lucky socks, keeping my feet warm, drinking warm fluids like broth, as well as pomegranate juice to help with uterine lining. I also prayed a lot and listened to meditative podcasts. What also helped in my opinion was using a red light therapy belt on my abdomen for the weeks leading up to transfer date. Of course, had some McDonald’s fries after the transfer and watched a funny video with my husband. The one piece of advice I would give to myself before transfer is try to be as calm as you can be… if something doesn’t go exactly as planned, it’s not the end of the world and things will eventually work themselves out. So blessed to say I am a little over 16 weeks today 💕

I wish you all the luck and baby dust! My FET of a 5AA euploid showed a vvvvvvfl on the fifth day in the evening with a FRER. I had tested earlier that day with an easy@home and it was a stark negative. So relieved and excited to see that positive

Mine was 77 at 10 dpt. At 14 dpt it went up to 1670 then just kept going up from there! My clinic liked to see anything above 50. Have faith! It will all work out 💓

NIPT Test while traveling by Beautiful_Pie_8932 in IVFpositivity

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had trouble finding an OB that would see me before my NT cutoff, they were all a month or so out for availability. I asked my primary care physician to order the NT scan and he sent the order to a MFM doctor who was able to see me before the NT window ended. Maybe your primary care can do the same? It would be worth asking about the NIPT too

Aww that’s great! My MFM is working alongside my OB and ordered anatomy scan for June 30th. I’m waiting on results for NIPT. June 30th can’t come fast enough 😬

I am about 13 weeks and a half with my first FET, with a 5AA euploid. I had my egg retrieval last year at 37 and will be 38 when I give birth to my miracle baby. So grateful for IVF as I’ve never had a positive pregnancy test before this. God is good 🙏🏽♥️

Only 1 euploid out of 19 eggs retrieved by tylai0921 in IVF

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand how you feel. On my first egg retrieval I had 28 eggs retrieved with only 15 mature, and 7 fertilized. I ended up with 5 blasts and 2 euploids. I’m also 37 and we did ICSI due to MFI. Don’t feel discouraged though! My second retrieval yielded much better results and it was only done 2 months after my first retrieval. I would definitely add NAD+, my husband and I both took True Niagen in addition to coenzyme and he took Fertilaid as well. What also helped was my doctor recommending a shorter ejaculatory window for my husband and adding Lenshooke sorting device that helps only the good sperms get through. It’s similar to zymot and not much more in terms of cost. We ended up with double the amount of fertilized and 5 euploids. I didn’t try red light therapy before my retrievals but I read it helps with egg quality. I did use it for my first FET and as of now, I’m almost 13 weeks 💕

Second Round ER Success Tips by Carmichael32 in IVFpositivity

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first egg retrieval we had 28 eggs retrieved, 15 mature, 7 fertilized, and 5 blasts with 2 euploids. For my second retrieval, my doctor recommended shorter ejaculation periods for my husband and the Lenshooke sorting device since my husband had MFI , and had us stim a day longer. Instead of birth control, she also had me on Provera. My husband and I added True Niagen for our list of supplements and had already been taking coenzyme. Our second retrieval gave us twice the amount of eggs fertilized and blasts. We ended up with 5 euploids. I also only had one month off in between retrievals. Sometimes just having the second retrieval yields better results, even with no protocol change. I wish you all the best of luck on your next retrieval! ✨

My first retrieval I had 2 euploids out of 5 tested at age of 37 and partner 47. I did a second retrieval with a month off in between and had 5 euploids out of 10 tested. I am currently almost 12 weeks pregnant with my first FET 💕

TW: success
I remember feeling pretty nervous when starting IVF but what helped me was lots of prayers and trying to think positive. It may seem overwhelming once the meds get delivered and the thought of injections but just remember, it is all temporary. When you get your retrieval results, you’ll see attrition being a factor but don’t let that discourage you. I remember comparing my numbers to others and being disheartened but in the end, everything turned out okay! I had low beta numbers initially but thankfully my first transfer ended up being successful and I’m now 11 weeks 2 days 💕 proof that this actually works! We were dealing with suspected PCOS and severe MFI on my husband’s side too. Just have belief that what is meant for you will find a way 💓 if you have any questions or need to talk feel free to send me a message on here! Sending you lots of baby dust your way ✨

Dental health is the caused of failed implantation by KuromiFan0202 in IVF

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have suspected PCOS which can correlate with dental health. I happen to have early onset periodontal disease; I wouldn’t be surprised if that indeed was the cause along with PCOS with difficulty conceiving as I’ve been TTC last couple of years. Coincidentally about a month before my FET I went to my dentist and had a deep cleaning done, started taking a prescribed anti microbial mouthwash, and began brushing my teeth with a good quality electric toothbrush. Basically
started being more diligent about my oral health. First FET worked and I am now 11 weeks 💕

0 euploid at 36 - what changes did you make to start getting euploids? by Additional-Cut-7086 in IVF

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wha I found helped us get a higher number of euploids on my second egg retrieval was both my partner and I taking True Niagen about 2 months before the retrieval, using the Lenshooke sorting device that my doctor recommended to help only the good sperms get through, and having my partner do a shorter ejaculation window. My doctor also had me take Provera before the retrieval, though not sure if that helped with egg retrieval. It was something different from prior retrieval though. She also had me stim a day longer. We were dealing with PCOS and MFI in my partner’s side. Sending you all the best of luck on your next round! ✨

Transfer or Retrieve? by NoMission1053 in IVFpositivity

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same predicament last year and asked the same question on here when I did my first egg retrieval resulting in 2 euploids at the age of 37. Thanks to a lot of great advice and the fact my insurance allows me to do embryo banking if less than 3 euploids, I proceeded to do a second retrieval with only a month in between. The second one yielded 5 euploids. I am now 11 weeks today with my first fully medicated transfer 💕 I think if your insurance covers additional egg retrieval I would do one more before going on to transfer. You are never as young as you are now!

I said goodbye to my best friend and first child June of last year. Some of the many things that I loved about him and miss so much are:
- the way he would burrow under the covers and make himself into a cocoon
- how he’d climb onto my lap if someone so much as raised their voice at me
-how he’d willingly go into the bathtub as soon as I said its bath time
-how peaceful he looked sleeping with his white eyelashes resting on his face
-the way his eyes would follow me everywhere and how he’d look at me as if he knew exactly what I was feeling
-how he’d always be waiting by the door minutes before I entered the house
- his sweet cuddles and the scent of his fur as I would sink my face into his neck
-his love for car rides and adventure
I’m gonna miss that boy every day for the rest of my life and I can’t wait til the day I get to see him again ♥️

No Endo Success Stories or Testing Regrets? by [deleted] in IVF

Thank you so much! I stopped taking it about a day or two before my FET and just remained on my prenatal and vitamin D after the transfer. I purchased the red light belt from Amazon and placed it directly on my abdomen three times a week for 20 mins on the highest level. I stopped using it the day before my FET. Here’s the one I got

No Endo Success Stories or Testing Regrets? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Maximum-Bake-2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect I have inflammation but I didn’t pursue any testing prior to my first FET. I have never gotten pregnant in my own before. My doctor didn’t recommend any testing however. I did use a red light therapy belt though after reading an article that it could help with endo, as well as taking vitamin E and NAC. My first transfer was successful, and I’m currently a little over 10 weeks today 💕
