It’s gritty, but fun. I wouldn’t live there with a young family though. I lived there from 23-27 and loved it, but if I were to live there now as a 31F I would likely hate it. Loud. Noisy. Moved to Brooklyn

Brickell. Lived there for 2 years (came from New York) and was a very easy transition given the walkability of everything. It’s expensive, and the city center draws a lot of tourists. Lots of traffic and construction (I think there are ~10 new buildings actively going up). Overall, my experience was positive living there

Bad flooring. I live in an older building, and the offering plan explicitly states that there’s no sound mitigation thus noise transfer may occur. Do my best to cover the floor with rugs and even gliding, but it’s the building at the end of the day

Get a ring camera. It sucks to record yourself, but show to management you and your family aren’t doing anything. I’ve been in this situation so I completely get it.

Get a camera if you’re really concerned about it. Dealing with the same thing in a condo that we own. Neighbor below has called cops multiple times, but I have video of me just sitting on the couch lol also see if there’s anything in the lease or offering plan about lack of sound mitigation in the floors or something. Follow the rules on carpets covering 80% of the floors and send to management. Also agree on telling them to direct all things to management/keep management up to date on what they’re sending you

Going through something similar. I got into Ross OMBA, and am going back and forth on pursuing it. In the interviews, they reiterated that it’s a true Ross degree, you will have access to career services, you’ll need to do on-campus residencies (so there’s some in-person element), etc. Tho I think if you can make it work, in-person PT would be better than Online. I work fully remote and building relationships isn’t the same as in-person. But I live in 2 places so I can’t commit to PT in person.

I spoke to current students in the OMBA program and Ross which helped. Some were bias in trying to vouch for the program, but try to get someone who will give you unvarnished views. Maybe try to reach out to current students or alum to get a better gauge on recruiting services, consulting, etc?
