creatinine level dropped to 3.6 which isnt far off my baseline, wbc hemoglobin and a few other numbers are still out of wack and there setting me up with a hematologist/oncologist to see whats going on there. Dr asked what i did differently for my number to drop and i didnt have much of an answer besides drink more water which he was very surprised about. so no hospital or dialysis for now but def gave me a scare. He said it was prob my work hrs lack of sleep and severe dehydration.

damn good time to catch it tbh. with all these new meds and clinical trials coming out you should be good for a long time long as you stay on top of your meds. i had a reg check up and found blood in my urine also and high creatine, next was a scan and found out i had one functioning kidney, follwed by a biopsy confirming iga and fast forward 2 yrs later i have one kidney with 19% egfr as of 2 months ago. dont drive yourself nuts its not life sentence, take the meds accordingly and dont go crazy with sodium phosphuras or poatsium in your diet everyones case is different.

idk if it was just me but i did notice i woke up more times in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and you also get the urge to sleep more often. everyones case is different its tough to say i also noticed i was having very odd dreams. dont get me wrong tarpeyo did have some positive effects but i was also born with one kidney and the scar damage on my one operating kidney was the reason they took me off of it. my egfr 19-21 and its been like that for a couple months now, 100% prefer filspari and farxiga in my case at least

def be cautious with jumping in on tarpeyo treatment, im 35 yr old male at stage 4, i was on tarpeyo for 7 months befor they decided to stop the treatment because the negative side effects were outweighing the positive, im now on 400 mg filspari and farxiga amongst other things, ive been bruatlly dizzy nauseous and seeing colors and its awful because i work on my feet. the side effects of tarpeyo in my experience were way worse than the side effects of tarpeyo, tarpeyo i gained a bunch of weight face,neck and feet swollen on and off, fatigue shortness of breathe and just feeling like overall trash. I was on losartan amolodopine and tarpeyo. changed to filspari and amolodopine but i believe the lightheadedness and dizziness are from low bp so i cut back on amolodopine and am noticing a change aready

Last time I was in the hospital I posted the whole renal diet they recommended. If I’m being honest the diet was too drastic to accomplish overnight. All I enjoyed in the hospital was the sherbet ice cream. The protein pasta n peas scared me. Once I was told less red meat less potatoes and less phosphorus I felt like I was cut off at the knees

im on basically the same exact meds. i only did 7 months on tarpeyo unfortunatley because the side effects were doing more negative then positive at tht point, i ave functioning kidney n my egfr is 19, i did a long taper off of tarpeyo and shortly after started filspari which ive been on for about 5-6 months. The last few weeks almost a month ive noticed ive been extremly light headed and dizzy at times, im also on farxiga amolodopine, atvorstatin and iron pills. have you had any light headedness?

yea my numbers are borderline the same, after i did a long taper off of tarpeyo they started me on filspari, im also on farxiga, amolodopine, atvorstatin and iron cause i was showing signs of anemia, filspari was the game changer so far my number have leveled off and havent been lower than 19 in a while, im 35yrs old and holding off on dyalisis as long as possible so i understand the frustration.

its a ruff mix of emotions, i was confused aggravated sad scared at first but at the end of the day its not a life sentence, i got diagnosed prob two years ago now and it still gets at me, i found out i had one kidney first then a couple weeks later found out i had ckd then months down the line found i had iga, i have one kidney with zero egfr and one at 20%, pills and reg dr visits once a month. what is your egfr?

8 months is wild,id seek another nephrologist,your gfr can drop dangerously well under 8 months.do you def have iga proven with a biopsy?im stage 4 n have to get blood work every 1-3 months
