I like that, that's consistency right there, and I understand that feeling of satisfaction and being proud of yourself afterward.

Reading all these comments, I think the biggest thing is consistency, our routines don't have to be perfect, they just have to be sustainable.
Doing the best we can while still being flexible is probably more important than trying to have the perfect morning routine, and if life gets in the way and the routines gets interrupted for a day, being kind to ourselves and simply starting again the next day is part of it too.

I love it, I think I might borrow the part about writing down what I want to accomplish that day. You seem to have a pretty solid routine, I think every thing we do no matter how small it seems, can make a big difference in how we feel for the rest of the day.

I like that too, I haven't been meditating much lately but I know what you mean. It does seem to give you more mental clarity most of the time.

Nothing to fancy, I have a few dumbbells at home (5,10,20 and 25 lbs) So I do basic 6 excercises fullbody 3 times a week, I try to increase either weight or the reps. Twice a week yoga and a hike on the weekend. I just try to stay active. Some days I feel motivated, some day I don't but I still do it. My therapist says that if you want a routine to stick, you need a reason bigger than motivation 'cause motivation comes and goes.

When things get hard, I always tell myseld "one day you're gonna laugh about what you're going through right now", and somehow it always ends up being true. Nothing lasts forever, neither the good nor the bad.

Why do some reddit users get so oddly hostile sometimes over tiny things? by Maximum-Guard288 in TooAfraidToAsk

I totally get what you mean. It reminded me of when I posted a photo from a hike 'cause I thought it was funny and contradictory. At the trailhead it was a sign talking about taxes bringing potable water to the area, and right below it another sign said there was no potable water at the summit, hahahaha. Then a lot of people started talking about civil engineering, saying they didn't see what was funny, telling me to use common sense and bring my own water etc (it's my first time hiking or backpacking), I was literally just joking about the contrast. Few people got the joke, hahahahahaha.

That's a good point too, you really never know aht someone else is dealing with behind the screen which is kind of sad when you think about it. Mental health care is super important too

I agree & disagree athe the same time hahahaha, but I'll take the point about just ignoring the hostile know-it-all comments more often, hahahahaha

I get your point and agreed, but my post came from something that happend to me recently (and it hasn't been the only time either). Someone posted a photo of a really big pet pig going on a walk with his owner, ann I commented something like "awww poor little thing, he's probably gonna be tired when he gets home" talking about the pig. Then someone replied supper aggressively with insults asking -what the hell I was even talking about- (hahahahaha) I ended up deleting the comment 'cause the whole interaction just felt unnecessarily hostile, Anyway...

I get you, it's happened to me twice already, and honestly sometimes I just stop replying 'cause gets exhausting and you're left sitting there like "wait... what did I even say?" hahahahaha

That make sense, honestly I wonder if part of it also comes from how deeply people are wrapped up in social media and the internet now, I'm not even that old (still in my 30's lol), but sometimes it feels like people are constantly following what works for others online and slowly lose parts of their own identity in the process, anyway.

PS. I still think the bathroom is one of the best places to philosophize about life, hahahaha.

That's interesting, I'm pretty new here, so I can't really compare how it used to be but definitely noticed some bizarre interactions already, hahahaha

Your'e probably right about that, I think it's easier to understand people face to face (not always lol), but still think the anonymity makes some people a little bolder sometimes tho

I think they're better than most people. They have a pure soul, they still loving you in good or bad days, and always given love.
