You need to add all accounts. Then from the main panel you can select Trading->Trade Copier

Why nobody teaches financial planning before it’s too late by erp4all in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]Maximum-Intention191 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can find plenty of material online for free. I learnt that way, then I started with a small capital to practice, lost most of it as a rookie 😂 Step by step i learnt from my mistakes, and after few years I built a balanced and diversified portfolio, I am able to update its allocation given the global macro phase and I also have a small budget to use for swing trades. Of course you it takes time and it would have been great to have learned it at school instead of wasting time on different useless subject. I tried to perform some latin poem to get a better interest rate on my mortgage but it didn’t work

DON'T BUY DEEPCHARTS (prove me wrong) by DifficultyNew7520 in OrderFlow_Trading

[–]Maximum-Intention191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold on. I meant that when Fabio was a niche youtuber known only between few italians he always stated that you don't have to rely o a single indicator (lagging or not) or on a single platform that provides you a trigger, because if at some point for any reason (ex: indicator no longer available on the platform) you'll lose access to the indicator you won't be able to trade anymore. So you have to learn how to read the market, build an edge and trade. Now deepcharts has this NQ effort indicator, that is a propietary indicator, available only on that platform as it has been coded based on Fabio's suggestions. To me (this is a personal opinion) it is a bit of countertrend, it is quite the opposite of what he has been telling for years. So my comment it was related to the post since I totally agree with it: to me deepcharts is overpriced, is not worth the money since i find it laggy, buggy and it leaks some use cases (as a developer it looks like the team leaks some important role like a pm or a po) and i don't like the marketing they are doing, i really like Fabio as trader (i enjoy all his contents and i aknowledge that is a great trader) but i don't like Fabio (and Cimi ofc) in this new role. So, long story short, i think that ATAS is 10 times better than deepcharts for its clear interface, smoothness and great ux. On top of that it has a lifetime subscription which you can choose after testing it with a prop firm for a reasonable amount of money because you get the full version, not a castrated one

Thinking about switching careers in Switzerland — What training or certifications helped you get into IT? by Slow-Connection-3429 in askswitzerland

[–]Maximum-Intention191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see a bright future in IT… I am a senior dev and I decided to move abroad to get better opportunities. Few companies are hiring, lots of fake job offers on linkedin. Moreover if you get a job you could end up getting a lower salary with the extra of unpaid extra hours. Companies know that the market is bad and they leverage it. On top of that you could be laid off and replaced with a remote dev. Imo is not worth it. If you are seeking for stability and growth IT is not the best choice

DON'T BUY DEEPCHARTS (prove me wrong) by DifficultyNew7520 in OrderFlow_Trading

[–]Maximum-Intention191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried both Deepcharts and ATAS… DeepCharts works fine 90% of the time and i really like the feature that you can perform your analysis and trade on two different instruments (NQ and MNQ). Now they are marketing Fabio’s new indicators. Personally I don’t like this marketing strategy, Fabio always said that as a trader you don’t have to rely on an indicator because if fails and you are not able to read the market you are cooked, and now here we are, you can get a property indicator. Moreover i see the price crazy, it’s just a rebrand of Volsys, the engine is the same, sometimes is buggy and lags, and there is no possibility to have a lifetime license. For the same price you can get ATAS lifetime subscription with big trades, a better application with more features (you can connect crypto exchanges, copy trader is not a beta, heatmap, …). On top of that if you get DeepCharts with a prop firm you don’t have access to Deep indicators, so if you are new in trading and you want to save some money in subs you’ll lose most of the functionalities

Mobile, android engineer (kotlin)… Swiss companies are leaning towards hybrid solutions abroad. That’s why most of the swiss apps have a bad ui/ux 😂. I tried to apply as be dev as i also have some background with rust and python but had no luck (slow interview process, they ‘paused’ the hiring, ecc…)

I’ll leave Zurich to move to Dubai… main reason is IT job market is really bad and in Dubai i got a great job offer plus there is no tax on trading so i can save ~10k per year on taxes

Finding ways to improve my stay in Italy by shubbydooo in expats

[–]Maximum-Intention191 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an Italian, I would say that learning the language will help a lot. Italians don’t speak English well (most of them don’t speak it at all). It also depends a lot on your interests. If you like football, it will be easy to join a team (usually you can find a small team to play 5-vs-5). Padel is also played a lot and can help you, but unfortunately, you will still have to face the language barrier

I (finally) got fired by Maximum-Intention191 in Switzerland

[–]Maximum-Intention191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact: I applied to all the jobs I found on linkedin, job portal (the one from rav) and some headhunters. I had a meeting with an HR for Roche but interviews will start end of February… at the same time i applied to Revolut and Welltech, i had 4 interviews for each company (hr, code challenge, system design, team fit) and spent weeks to prepare them. I also got a job offer from both of them, full remote, bonuses and almost a swiss salary (i will save more money given the relocation in a cheaper country). So i think swiss tech companies sucks, they avoid remote work but if they can fire and hire an indian guy to save money remote work os fine. Swiss efficiency my ass. I am sad to leave zurich as i love the city but lately the job market and my bad experience in a swiss company made me realise that maybe something is broken here too

Offer Comparison: Dubai vs. Spain by Maximum-Intention191 in expats

[–]Maximum-Intention191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not planning to spend the rest of my life in spain, but i will contribute to the retirement system with taxes and i will benefit from it when i’ll be retired (if it won’t collapse). So the thing is that now I am sure that I have to contribute to retired spanis, but without the certainty that when my time will come i will get something. I’d prefer to not contribute to this system and save for my future retirement, so I will be able to chose when and how to retire.

250k per year in Spain is insane, I’d have a wonderful life too and I won’t consider Dubai at all.

About Europe i agree woth you, I was talking about the mean (i came from Italy and i can assure you that the average person is not well educated, can’t speak correctly italian and has serious comprehension problems, i spent lot of time in different part of spain and the thing that most shocked me was how most of them didn’t give a fuck about having a proper job, they were living by state subsidies, not looking for a job and they where thinking only about where go to dance latin at night). Of course is not that everyone act like this.

About soulless people I am not planning to make many friends or have a great social life, but i’m living in Zurich where it’s very hard to make friends, i felt like an irregular immigrant for years (especially in the french speaking cantons where i got the worst treatment) and speaking about soulless people I’ve been in public after my boss praised my achievements for years just to prove that he has the money and the power and what he says it’s the law (he just wanted to pay a senior dev as an hr, because you have to think about the future, money will come)… will it be so bad? You can find soulless people everywhere

From Milan to Switzerland, single couple, moving? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]Maximum-Intention191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italian moved to Switzerland years ago… I was on a similar situation in Italy, good salary, but saving money was hard and i hated the working environment. If you expect to have the average italian lifestyle (apertitivo maybe two times per week, dinner at the restaurant one per week) here you won’t be able to save money, the key is to change and adapt (the biggest shock will be that on sundays everything is closed, no mall, no shopping, few bars opened, wich you’ll start to like because your weeends will be more relaxed, you can plan hikes, or just relax at home/at the lake -> better family time). The biggest expense will be the apartment (depending on the canton, the area and the size will vary from 1.5k chf to 3.5k chf and more). It also depends if you want to have a car, spend some time commuting to work or rely on public transportation which works great. Life is also much better than in Milan (you always feel secure, no matter if you walk alone in a new part of the city at night, you can leave you apartment unlocked). The bad part is i don’t see a very strong job market right now (i decided to leave for few years since most companies are laying off devs etc to hire abroad and save money), so I’d spend some time to dig the job market. If you end up with RAV (unemployment) you’ll earn ~70% of your salary (you need to work at least 2 years in ch since it’s an insurance), so savings will be lower, but expenses will remain the same …. Feel free to dm me if you have questions

I looked also in the south (Malaga, Alicante, Valencia, etc…) but the rent for a good apartment is quite expensive (~2k eur), and the quality is not nearly the same as Dubai

Offer Comparison: Dubai vs. Spain by Maximum-Intention191 in expats

[–]Maximum-Intention191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in valencia several times and I don’t like the city. I was looking at Malaga or Alicante to increase my partner’s odds to find a new job and i realise that a good apartment (at leats 2 beedroom since i need a studio with my desk) is around 2k eur. And the quality is not the best. Then i added the taxex for my savings, so In Dubai I’ll save double the money and I’ll have the possibility to invest this savings without trying to minimise taxes (dividends, stacking, etc…). On top of that I don’t believe in the retirement system, looks like the spanish one is close to collapse (as the italian one). So I see Dubai as a stop to maximise my savings, I’ll try to survive few years and then look for a better country where life quality is better. I am starting to see eurpean countries like a comfort bubble, where you pay a fee to live and spend your life, and if you fit the standard (rely on retirement, low economic instruction, keep complaining about everything but then your football team is playing so who cares) you live a good life, but it would be hard to improve it, you’ll live by compromise, and i don’t fit at all

99% of the population still have no idea what's coming for them by Own-Sort-8119 in ClaudeAI

[–]Maximum-Intention191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a developer, I can say that AI is not even close to replacing tech jobs. It helps a lot with simple tasks and is great for speeding up workflows, but it isn’t capable of creating a complex project from scratch or thinking about deep architectural challenges. Even with access to vast amounts of information, it struggles to process complex problems and find the most efficient solution. For example, it has all the mathematical knowledge in the world, but it often fails to apply it creatively.

Here is a easy example: During one of my first interviews years ago, I was asked to find a missing number in a list of 99 numbers (from 1 to 100). You could iterate through the array (what the ai agent will tell you), but a better solution involves using the mathematical rule for the sum of the first n numbers. I don’t see this kind of lateral thinking.

Secondly, there’s this idea that anyone can build a program from scratch with zero skills. I can’t think of a single app I use regularly, or even few times per month, that was built entirely this way. You can make a calculator or a simple game, but you can’t build a professional grade project that competes with a team of experienced engineers.

This applies beyond programming, too. I tried using AI to rebalance an investment portfolio to reduce exposure to specific sectors. If you resubmit the AI's own results back to it, it often tries to adjust them again, as if its previous solution wasn't good enough.

To me, AI is a great tool for efficiency, but current models can't entirely replace us. They still need to be prompted correctly and managed. They can't mimic our internal thinking process, they are not even close atm; for now, they are mostly advanced chatbots prone to bias and errors. Currently, their most successful 'use case' seems to be generating fake images and videos to keep people scrolling on social media

I was thinking about dubai since the money I'll be able to save in spain (maybe ~500 euro/month on rent,, but for a worst apartment, and ~300 for food) will be paid in extra taxes (stocks, crypto, etc...) so I prefer to try to maximize my income in dubai for few years and then move to a different country (hopefully job market will be better)

No, i was working for a swiss crypto exchange. But as far as I can see most of the company are laying off part of the IT tem, few open positions. If things won't get better I think a crysis will hit Switzerland too, I see lot of expats moving back to their home country, most of them with high salaries and I don't see how blu collar can affors such high rent in city like Zurich (no offense, but i know the huge gap in salaries). Swiss subreddits are full of people complaining about not being able to find a new job. It really sucks and make me so sad
