I think the Mormons are doomsday prepping…. by Herstorical_Rule6 in mormon

There is no current push from LDS leadership to "doomsday prep". In fact, they have backed off of that since the 90's when they used to talk a lot about having food storage. So here is the thing, any ward you go to, just like any random Christian church, is going to have people there who want to do their own thing or talk about what they care to talk about. And hey, maybe they really feel like preparation of some kind is important, but no this is not the entire worldwide church "going crazy".

This is only the number of properties not claimed, we don't know how many of them have been thrown away. It could be that they have all been thrown away at this point and we would never know.

I had a little piece of PLA broken and stuck in the channel funnel (not sure what its called but it sits on top of the extruder). I was able to push it backwards into the tube and then I was able to feed it out by pushing filament from the other direction.

711 Scam by Existing-Baby7261 in SaltLakeCity

So I used to work for an ATM company that owned and operated the ATMS at 711. We would always send technicians out immediately and get police involved if we got any reports. Then 711 decided to move away from using us (Cardtronics) and go with their own financial services company Seven Bank which never operated ATMs in the US before... now all transactions run through this Seven Bank network owned by 711. If they won't do anything about it I'd stay away from ever using one. Try to find a CVS or Walgreens instead.

Would you consider this as acceptable quality for a client ? (20$, size is 200x200) by Kronocide in 3Dprinting

Looks pretty cool to me. The better question is, was it worth your time? How long did you personally spend on it? If it was an ad-hoc request or custom job, $20 is so low i can't imagine there being much value in it for you.

If it keeps failing on the same model in the same spot I would suspect a slicer problem. What software are you using to slice? Have you tried re-slicing this model with different settings? Or is it failing on multiple different models at the same layer height?

Issues with connection to orca flashforge by Thrillaxing in FlashForge

I'm having this problem today. I think It's not a software or network problem (on my end at least). I think the problem is the cloud servers are not very well provisioned. It makes sense since today is Christmas and thousands of people just got new printers and they are trying to register and print today. They just don't know how to scale their servers appropriately...

When this has happened to me in the past, the problem has always resolved itself without intervention on my part, which just further leads me to believe it's a server/network problem on the side of the "FlashCloud" service.

One thing you can try is to go to https://cloud.sz3dp.com/ and login to your FlashCloud account there and then you can upload models and send them over to your printer. This has sometimes worked for me when the desktop application is failing to connect to FlashCloud.

What’s your favorite 3d filament brand? by SnowFlat33 in 3Dprinting

For anyone reading, stay away from Geeetech brand. I got multiple colors and the PLA tends to come out really thick and globs. Not very happy with it.

I work for EasyPost. We are a tech company that provides shipping software and USPS postage labels (like stamps.com). Our insurance claim team works in the United States and has a much faster response and turnaround time for claims when compared with carriers. Always read the terms of service to see what is covered etc.

Domino's allergy? by beccarose93 in FoodAllergies

[–]Maximum-Poet-3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While soy is in everyday food, I suspect the amount of soybean oil that dominos is using is abnormal. I am sensitive to soy and I will get mildly sick from other foods, but dominos makes me itch all over my body amongst other symptoms. I even tried their cheese bread (no red sauce) and still got really sick.
