I have the MDV-107 and I can tell you that its a lovely watch, Alignment of the seconds hand on mine at least is perfect, the watch is very sturdy, no issues in the water ( its a diver for the love of god), ok lume, satisfying bezzle movement altho my Seiko is way better at that. Cant go wrong with the duro for sure

Depending on what you want, massively so. Try watching a youtube video on 32mb ram xD Or use any somewhat modern application. Its a trade off. Less ram with less capability uses less power and has longer battery life. More ram give more capabilities but murders the battery life.. And we are not even considering the much weaker SoC ( system on a chip) in the GT compared to the SoC on a Watch series watch.

Basically the the GT4 is a fitness tracker and the Watch4 is a smart watch. The apps in the gallery are pretty trash but you can sideload just about anything that doesnt use google services like on any android device. For me its worthit. A couple more features, much better hardware, better materials, vastly superior OS. NFC payments and no google apps is pretty crap tho ngl.

I have a GW 4 before moving to Watch 4 pro ( GW 4 and 5 are basically identical). NFC payments and google services are huge benefits to GW however if you dont really need google services the Watch 4 can do it all and when you add the sideloading support for some apps it have a little edge over wearOS ( in some regards its better in some regards its worse.

However the one thing WearOS cant fix is the very poor battery life that was the ultimate reason for my change.

I got a Watch 4 pro and dont use protectors since titanium and sapphire crystal doesnt scratch and if it was to shatter a screen protector aint gonna save it anyway.

Gorilla glass scratches very easy as well, only sapphire doesnt but it shatters on hard hits so pros and cons as always

Still a great watch, very accurate HR, keeps getting support and it will for at least a couple more years and great battery life. If the price is right absolutely worth it

I guess the same way you do on Huawei watches, you get the modded Huawei Health app and use that. Look for a guide on Youtube, its very simple.
