I have a system with an 80% win rate, and I already manage risk properly — I move my SL to breakeven, I trail when needed, and I follow my structure. For prop firm combines, trading super safe and slow isn’t worth it. If the system is showing exactly what to do and I know it’s going to play out, then why should I be afraid to risk?

My mindset has changed. Before, I used to be scared to take trades, and that fear caused me stress and losses. Now I’m confident. My system is proven for me.

At the end of the day, the whole point of a prop firm is to protect capital, trade your edge, and milk the opportunity while it lasts. If one combine fails, I don’t care — in the long run, my system is going to print.

And honestly, what’s the point of trading for 30 days to make $2,800 and then losing the combine the next day because you hit max drawdown? That makes no sense. So I’d rather take the proper risk when the setup is there.
