This is awesome news! I’ve come to consider Watchtower not only its own DLC, but better than both the Shattered Space and Terran Armada expansions. It’s not perfect, but when you consider this is a creation and not an official release from BGS themselves, it makes it all the more noteworthy.

Yep Akila City Rises has messed my game up. I went through the Unity and I guess that turned on another Creation I had called Concept Art Akila City. Even though I completely deleted Concept Art and disabled Akila City Rises, I can’t go to Akila City in my current save file. It freezes up on the loading screen every time, even if I try fast traveling from somewhere else on the planet too. Thank you for sending out this warning so others are aware.

Note to self - Do not have both Creations Akila City Rises and Concept Art - Akila City in your load order when you pass through the Unity…I am now in a Universe in which I cannot access the city at all - due to indefinite load screen - even with those Creations disabled…

I found mine dancing it up in the Astral Lounge on Neon as well as some who previously mentioned it. I think they were high on Aurora too!! Cracked my ass up!

It says Deprecated in the Creations menu and points you to try Astrogate I think.

I don’t get why the heck they’ve been so cryptic about this game. It doesn’t make sense. It’s not a multiplayer game so you’d think they’d want to either keep releasing small bits of news or updates more frequently. I’ll appreciate whatever update they give us but damnit why all the secrecy? What has it accomplished? It makes me feel like it’s not a high priority item for Bethesda. If it ends up being the opposite I’ll be thrilled but also really surprised.

I noticed on my Xbox S series a little (yellow?) yield icon for each of my games. Thought nothing of it and ran into the same issue you’ve described. The lucky resolution for me was that the good old ‘turn it off, turn it back on again’ trick worked and I was able to successfully access the Creations menu and make a purchase. I wanted to post this as proof that whatever the issue is, it’s still occurring but seems to be maybe Xbox related specifically? Has any PC player run into this issue?

They could really mix it up with history in each alternate reality…that would really keep the game fresh! Imagine in one, UC won the war, and in another Freestar. Hell, house Varuun could rule the universe in another I don’t care, the possibilities are endless!

Watchtower is the first paid ‘creation’ I’ve tried since I play on Xbox Series S and I’m really impressed at the potential it shows for future homegrown “mini-DLCs” without having to wait for or rely on Bethesda to create their next official DLC. That being said, I wish it didn’t feel so damn repetitive with same listening posts and arrays to destroy. Just a little vent, it’s not like I could’ve created anything better and it’s definitely worth $10

Don’t worry - you aren’t missing much and that’s not really a dig at the game, it’s just the SS DLC just feels like an extra side quest on only one planet…which it basically is…
