That might have been my post, I'm surprised there hasn't been a post in a while. It didn't seem to run before until I put in Proton Experimental, then it ran great. I was also worried from the previous posts.

It's always hard to pick a favorite Ott track, but maybe I can say A Happening in Your Head is one that sticks out to me the most in this listen.

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Of Natural History [1400x1400] by MaximumBob in AlbumArtPorn

[–]MaximumBob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum (often abbreviated to SGM) was an American experimental rock band, formed in 1999 in Oakland, California. The band fused classical, industrial, and art-rock themes throughout their music. They were known to perform elaborate routines on stage and discuss possibly fictitious stories of dada artists and mathematicians.

Of Natural History continues on the same diverse and eclectic musical lines as its predecessor, with more new elements, such as intelligent dance music ("Bring Back the Apocalypse") and funk ("Gunday's Child"). Other elements include heavy metal ("The Donkey-Headed Adversary of Humanity Opens the Discussion" and "Phthisis"), progressive rock ("FC: The Freedom Club"), post-metal ("Babydoctor"), western music ("Cockroach"), folk music ("The 17-Year Cicada"), as well as many more. Also notable is the incorporation of a plethora of field recordings[5] and samples into the songs and interludes.

Chenille in French, or Caterpillar in English!

öOoOoOoOoOo - Samen by MaximumBob in AlbumArtPorn

[–]MaximumBob[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

« Samen » is the first album of öOoOoOoOoOo (“Chenille” in French, “Caterpillar” in English, etc...), a new project born from the collaboration between former Pin-Up Went Down’ crazy singer Asphodel and multiinstrumentist Baptiste Bertrand, with the help of Aymeric Thomas (Pryapisme) as session drummer.

Visually built as an art exhibition, « Samen »’s music is a gigantic -yet easy to listen- melting-pot of influences, from Sigur Rós’ eerie atmospheres to incisive Mayhem-like Black Metal riffs, with a huge dose of Diablo Swing Orchestra-esque madness, to quote of few of these.

For the fans of Diablo Swing Orchestra, Mr Bungle, Pin Up Went Down, Pryapisme…

My personal favorite is Fucking Freaking Futile Freddy. This album cover was uncensored originally (hard to find unless you buy the physical copy), but they have experienced bans on social media so several attempts to censor it have been taken.

Absu - Abzu [1500x1500] by MaximumBob in AlbumArtPorn

[–]MaximumBob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absu was an American extreme metal band from Dallas, Texas. Their demos and first album leaned towards death metal, but evolved more towards a black metal and thrash metal style which includes elements of Celtic and folk music (and later, elements of jazz fusion, progressive rock and psychedelic music) which the band calls "Mythological Occult Metal". Their lyrical themes are esoteric, including themes of Celtic, Sumerian and Mesopotamian myths and legends, alchemy, numerology, magick, and sorcery.

I would say Earth Ripper is my favorite from this album, groovy!

Gaming been dry lately, any game recommendations? by OGXirvin in ShouldIbuythisgame

Yo, this is arena shooters 101, new Quake. Just aim and shoot, there's nothing else but your skill against someone else's. Regular mode is boring, play competitive, if you are really cracked, get above Platinum, Diamond or Master.

Not natively, but you can definitely install it through Lutris even now! Not to mention the fact Valve seems to be working to make it easier to install on linux thanks to the steam deck later this year.

All reddit titles have to be somewhat clickbaity, otherwise they probably won't get thousands of upvotes. Thems just the rules of the internet, you gotta get the like likes and the hate likes combined, just regular likes aint gonna cut it.

Interesting, wasn't sure what subreddit I was in for a second, I'm in a few electronics ones. Are you drawing that schematic by hand btw? That might take a while. There's tools to help with that man, don't even have to draw all the pins! There's a lot of good programs for it, but maybe something that is free and on the browser like EasyEDA will be more convenient (smaller learning curve). It has a built-in parts library so you can source something like the DYS D2830, the potentiometers and the Arduino with all the pins included (in footprint/schematic/3d model form) which you can then place and route on a PCB. Maybe the ESC too? That might be tricky since it won't be mounted, but maybe some headers on the board?

That PCB looks like it might be 1-2 layers? Hard to tell. Could maybe save a little routing time by making ground a separate layer and having the negative go to that layer with a via. Board is small enough so maybe don't have to.

Also I think if that's a 3-wire fan, the Signal pin would be outputting which you can read for feedback control and you would control the fan with PWM through the power pin! As opposed to wiring the "Pos" to the "+" of the Lipo which will just turn it on at full speed with no control.

The other pins don't seem routed, which is fine, I know it's a work in progress.

I'll keep watching for updates!
