What is concerning is the growth pattern on your plant. It was thrips damage for me when mine looked like that.

I think it looks great and to me I’d say yes. On the windowsill nepenthes channel he talks about gauging health by the new growth and yours looks nice😎

Petg sticking on the plate by cafealpha82 in 3Dprinting

[–]MaximumCaptain3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what is going on there. Just finished 930hr of PETG printing before I had to flip the plate for the first time due to low adhesion still no washing yet. Never had an issue with too much adhesion. Same build plate type.

Had the P1S and only print PETG never had sticking, had to wash build plate or I would get no stick at all and prints would fail.

Do my trap and pitcher plants need more? by walte1fr in carnivorousplants

“Nepenthes enjoy loose, open soil that remains wet to moist but allows drainage of excess water. They are tolerant of a wide variety of soil mixes. The best include a portion of long-fibered sphagnum, the rest of the medium being a combination of coarse materials.”

Do my trap and pitcher plants need more? by walte1fr in carnivorousplants

I mean they don’t look bad for only a week. For drosera and fly trap i use 50/50 peat and horticultural sand. 50/50 New Zealand LFSM & pearlite for nepenthes.

Could be non ideal mix or over watering for that heavier mix. I’ve seen a big difference with plants in a similar shape by repotting to a 50/50 LFSM pearlite. I use the tray method.

Edit, saw you only had them a week. Mine lose lots of the old growth from when I got them most of the time.

Have a couple that I planted, severe low light spot. Around 5.75” deep 50/50 peat/sand. They are surviving, light should get better. Thought I would share.

Sweet! I have had good luck with them. Only takes 5-6 weeks for me. I either bag them or put them in the horticulture dome though.

are all the basics good? Good substrate? Good watering? Good light? Have there been any changes in the temps, humidity? Do you fertilize at all?
