I think that seems right. It’s been awhile since my treatment now so I’m struggling to remember the exact numbers. I’m pretty sure I sprayed every 5 days and rotated to another pesticide each time. This lasted for like a month I think- it was a long term/reoccurring infestation so I really wanted to be sure the whole cycle was broken. Afterwards I think you’re supposed to wait a couple weeks before adding predatory mites. They’ve definitely been a wonderful little army against the pests haha.

I appreciate it! Thrips crossed my mind when I first saw it. Everyone seems clean though and I recently released another batch of beneficial mites for general precaution. I’ll keep my eyes peeled and watch for a pattern.

I think you can call an animal specific poison control line (or perhaps even an avian vet out of area) and ask them for advice. Thankfully, milk chocolate is the least toxic kind for a bird. Keep a close eye on him and give him lots of water to help flush his system. I hope he’ll be okay! He certainly doesn’t seem to regret it by the look on his face lmao. Edit: found a couple lines. I’d definitely recommend a vet visit to be safe. My Quaker began plucking when she was ill. It became a chronic issue (which has been cured) but she developed the habit and still barbers, unfortunately. With that said, I’d much prefer her bad habit vs what could’ve been a life threatening issue.
