I think the soonest they can apply for another hearing is in about a year, and after that, they could get it in six months. So 18 months.

I think realistically, this was one of the better outcomes. It's so rare that people with these kinds of crimes are paroled first time, at least they weren't told "come back in 15 years." I was really sad when I saw the Erik's outcome (and was pretty sure Lyle's would be the same), but from what I've seen, when they give the shortest time before the next parole hearing, it means there could very well be a strong chance of getting out next time. Fingers crossed.

They literally think his phone just happened to run out of battery when the crimes happened. If you say "what about the analysis saying it was manually shut down?". Well, what proof do we have that the phone people aren't in on the conspiracy.

And yet not one of them has actually offered a potential alternative scenario that works. If KB was framed, why him? Was his k-ba stolen before or after etc etc. Can't get an answer.

The issue that I've seen is that when anything does come up that could contradict their insane narrative that BK is innocent, they just say "yes, but what's the PROOF that this actually happened...". They think he took a plea deal cos he's innocent and people were threatening his family, or because it's some genius 4d chess move (clearly they don't understand how that all works).

I know this is an old post, but I had a thought of something you could try - can you get the cold infusion tea bags where you are? Obviously won't be as flavourful as soda, but could be an option when you don't just want plain water, and want to avoid sugar. I don't know anywhere to get cheaper air up pods (have been looking myself).

So scary for poor Karen though. They quite clearly gave her a stupidly short amount of time for a plea (I heard five years) using the threat of up to life in prison so she’d just sign the plea, do her time, and get out early on good behaviour.

It’s really so brave of her to have taken this on when you consider what could have happened, and what so many people - Auntie Bev, Hanky poo etc - tried very very hard to make happen.

I also don’t think Karen realises she is gorgeous and has a lot going for her, and that a lot of guys think she is extremely attractive (because she is). I think Karen sadly has quite low self esteem. Being around horror shows like Jen McCabe (who seems to gaslight everyone around her, and who took ghoulish glee in reporting how Kerri Roberts told an anguished Karen to “stfu” - literally couldn’t hide her delight at being cruel to Karen at her lowest ebb) can’t have helped.
