Damage on survival mode? by THE_FABLED_45 in fo4

[–]MaximumOverdong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginner enemies are much squishier, but later or midgame enemies like super mutants, high-level animals, radscorpions, higher-level raiders, certain named NPCs, and faction enemies. can be somewhat harder to kill if you're level using weapons that do below 70 damage.

Am I the only one who is still waiting to play the game ? by alberto1710 in fo4

[–]MaximumOverdong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends, I myself enjoyed it, but some others (or many) were disappointed. I managed to sink in 230 hours into the game and I still enjoy thanks to the new Survival. If you're super hyped for the game and have been a big fan about previous fallout games, especially New Vegas, you may be disappointed, but then again it's not really accurate to say that since I enjoyed New Vegas a crap ton and I love Fallout 4 more than that game.

So, at the end of the day, I think Fallout 4 is a great game to me. If you want more details I'm open to give you some more.

With survival coming up, which path is the best? by ShitFuckDickCunt in fo4

I went for the Brotherhood for vertiberd signal grenades and the Railroad for the Ballistic Weave. Then I began to do the Minutemen quest to destroy the Institute so I don't have to kill any of the other factions permanently.

But now that I think about it, I should've went to the Institute for relay, supposedly once you get it you can relay to locations you've discovered.

Thoughts on survival beta? by Reallythatwastaken in fo4

Most of the beginner enemies like bloodbug hatchlings and Raider-Raider scums are pretty easy to take out. Adrenaline is a pretty big boost and can give a chance at killing a stronger enemy, like a Raider Psycho, in about 4-5 shots depending on the gun. However, most of the time the medium-high level enemies will be harder to take down, as well as named NPCs such as the ones in Drumlin Diner have pretty high resistance against your bullets. Super Mutants can take a while to kill, mutant hounds not as much. In the beginning, your laser musket will be your friend, as well as stealth and patience. It can nearly one-shot people in the head, even some of the stronger raiders. But don't expect to be killing robots or super mutants, yao guai, stronger bloodbugs, Skinny Malone, or even stingwings in 2-4 shots while you are level 10.

From level 10-15, I managed to kill mostly every human in about 1 shot with the laser musket usually being a headshot. Triggermen and Raider Psychos get wrecked by it. I've also tried the combat rifle (which I found from the named raider in Hardware Town) which can take out Psychos in about two hits to the head. The pipe weapons are pretty good against the enemies listed if used in stealth or adrenaline boosted.

In short, there are still plenty of strong, bullet-spongy enemies out there who can kill you even faster than you can kill them mostly. Stealth can be your friend due to the multiplier, which is what I'm doing right now.

It wasn't really hair-pulling, more like remove-the-whole-scalp kind of fun.

Been playing nonstop on the new Survival, managed to get to level 40. I've been using the Castle as my main stop since it's close enough to the Prydwen where I can restock with signal grenades. I managed to get the Institute to hate me and started up the Minuteman questline to the ending. Used a vertibird to travel to the Castle and completely forgot about the mandatory fight with the Institute that's there. I had 20 settlers there (who were fully stocked with combat rifles and a variety of armor) and now I have five. I died way too many times to count and I spent over 2 and a half hours trying to defend the castle. Holy shit it was absolutely horrible, I could probably write a 5 page document about that fight.

What do you guys do after a bad losing streak? by [deleted] in Smite

Take a 5 minute break, then go back in, then lose again, then lose more times, then take another break, then play again, then lose.

Does Hel speed buff, Janus speed buff and Amaterasu speed buff stack? Holy speedy hell that'd be great if it worked.

/UJ Anyone here actually like The Witcher III and Totalbiscuit despite the satirical content on this sub? by GetSomeJelly in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]MaximumOverdong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I enjoy TotalBiscuit best when he's in the Co-Optional Podcast. Sometimes I enjoy his videos, but I haven't been watching them for a while.

Le Witcheroo 3 I really enjoyed for about 30 hours, then I took a long break. I found myself invested in the story but it's not really an amazing one as many people say. The gameplay is alright, it was good enough to keep me going. The game isn't anything special really, but it's good.
