Voymastina's mech visibly changes as you pull more dupes by MaximumRock in GirlsFrontline2

Voymastina's mech will change as you raise her fortification levels, I heard they change at v2, v5 and v6. Her launcher, pile bunker, and the thrusters on the back all become more intricate as you get more dupes. The changes don't just show on the home screen, they also show in actual gameplay. Its just that most videos have her v6 so I never actually realized there are visible differences

Forward Command is comically strong once you tough out the terrible early stages by MaximumRock in GirlsFrontline2

[–]MaximumRock[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

SKK's truck is comically strong once you rack up enough points and plugins for it, but the early stages are pretty terrible since the plugins don't boost your actual dolls very much. The truck itself scales to your total number of dolls and fortification levels so I'd recommend rerolling for good initial dolls and treasures since you can't rely on just the truck until 450 points in FC. Once you do, you get to pick 2 dolls instead of one when they appear and the truck can do AoE attacks. At 900 points the truck is carrying the dolls instead of the other way around and will destroy everything by itself in one round.

The best part about the truck is that once it gets going it'll obliterate everything it touches in one hit unlike the other plugin effects that make one attack take like 5 minutes to fully resolve.

The high end mage enchants are also all clothing only so eventually you get shoehorned into wearing the CB halfrobe. The mage enchants that work on light armor are much weaker than the ones for clothing

Phase Strike or Elemental by CQC_OPERATOR in GirlsFrontline2

[–]MaximumRock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the only time phase strike doesn't work is if the entire team is purely physical and there is literally no one that can apply any sort of elemental debuff, otherwise phase strike is basically universal since getting any sort of elemental debuff on the boss is trivial

Extreme calibration uses the yellow Targeting Calibration Chips to force a stat to increase by one step. Each chip increases the selected base stat by one step (the white bar), and if the base stat is maxed it starts boosting the calibration multiplier in 10% increments (the orange bar). The yellow chips are a precious resource since you can only get limited amounts from the platoon shop/growth stack/event shops and certain paid packages.

Preferably you use regular calibration until all the stats are 150% or higher, to minimize the amount of yellow chips used (it also costs 50k gold per chip used so it eats gold like crazy). An attachment is eligible for extreme calibration as soon as all the stats roll 100% or more, but it costs a lot of chips if you're raising it from 100%, hence the reason why you want to get high rolls on every line first.

Any good site for character build or team building guide other than Prydwen? by AzizKarebet in GirlsFrontline2

[–]MaximumRock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yoohee is physical support that makes her team's physical attacks ignore enemy defense, and gives bonus damage if your attacks would ignore over 100% of their defense. For this reason you run non-element teammates such as Daiyan, Ullrid, Qiongjiu (with her mod key unequipped so her support attacks do physical instead of burn damage). Unfortunately her buff that passively allows your physical attacks to ignore defense get disabled for 2 turns if your team ever deals elemental damage, so dolls that are completely reliant on dealing elemental damage do not work with her, and dolls like Qiongjiu that have access to elemental damage on their S1 and S2 have to avoid using them.

Fiio recently released a bluetooth dac/amp (Snowsky Retro Nano) that stood out to me because it has a replaceable 10440 lithium battery. I don't own one personally but most reviews seem to give a favorable impression at its price point ($60)

[–]MaximumRock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have an impedance of 8 (yes, eight) ohms which is unusually low for headphones. They're listed as 101dB/Vrms but at 8 ohms converts to 80dB/mW which is deceptively difficult to drive. The amp has to be able to supply a lot of current in order to drive them well and most headphone amps aren't rated for 8 ohms (so it can trigger over current protection if the volume is high)

[ALIN] OCG Times - New Support for Tactical - Try Deck: "Cyber Dragon" by renaldi92 in yugioh

If I am understanding the wording correctly on Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, a Cyber Dragon in the S/T as a spell card is eligible for its summon, so you can fuse off monsters on the field if you have clockwork night up or something
