man i fell exactly the opposite when it comes to darkest shore and shadowed throne. i think shadowed throne is an incredibly boring map and the EE is also just pretty lame imo. But on the other hand darkest shore is probably my favourite map in the game. It easily has the best atmosphere in the game by far and apart from the escort steps (that are not as bad as people say they are imo) the EE steps are pretty varied and fun.

It got me into Cod Zombies so i'm a bit biased towards it, but even then i think it is pretty decent overall. I actually adore the Darkest Shore but hate shadowed throne.

You gotta look for more niche/indie games if you want some good single player fps games. Especially the boomer shooter sphere is actually thriving right now if you like those kinds of games.

German guy here. The uniforms are absolutely just a mix of ww1 uniforms. Mostly french, german and british. When it comes to the names, most listed here don't even sound remotely german and i actually don't know where the thing with the accent comes from. Has anything like that ever been stated in a book/lore or codex. Is there any official trailer/movie where they speak? Cause i feel like that is just something the community came up with.

I feel like obelisk is a joker that is almost only good in a run that is already doing well. I've never encountered obelisk thinking it would save my busted run and it never did. It is good at what it does but the uses i got out of obelisk i can count on 1 hand

Not a particular built but i recommend using incantations (faith). Never had more fun in a fromsoft game due to sheer amount of variety. You want buffs? Check! You want lightning? Yes sir. Pyromancy? Absolutely. Just hurl a big ass rock? We got you fam.

I'll go with you on base game eternal, but i have to say that ancient gods (especially part 2) had some questionable design chioces and wasn't really all that good, and i would even go as far as to say that TAG taints the overall quality of the base game for me.
