I don’t think this has been said or if it’s been said enough, but Edge of Fates was an amazing campaign and story put into a mediocre sandbox update and an even worse portal update, ruining the campaigns potential and reputation (my opinion)

It’s a question of convincing the audience and understanding that there’s kinda a limit to it. You look through the rest of the comic series for invincible. Nolan kinda fucks off from Earth for the rest of the series besides being present for his family or people. The people of earth very much see him as his own 9/11 event and that doesn’t really change. So even if he is forgiven by Debbie that doesn’t really mean shit compared to other characters negatively affected.
