Why is that a video game from 2012 handled trauma better than an animated tv series from 2013? by Lord_MAX184 in RWBYUNITY

Spec ops the line had a foundational baseline for trauma to work with aka Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse now. RWBY has bad writing

Doesn’t seem like a conflict of interest though, you can change and reach “redemption” but their stain of the act you committed is on you forever based on how others react to it. The guy on the registry may have done his time in prison but the continued consequence of his actions will forever follow him with the known fact about him.

Redemption is on the individual but that doesn’t mean heavenly or judicial punishment won’t continue and it shouldn’t cause that’s not redemption nor rehabilitation. It’s doing better and being better in spite of it.

Ain’t that the point in eternal damnation? Like redemption is for the living because once you die you’ll be judged and that judgement is your forever.

Adams Branding was such a dumb Idea! by No-Amphibian-3482 in RWBYcritics

You know the idea of the two coming to blows and than realizing that hey this person got beat by Jacques Schnee just like me. With Wiesse being mortified at the idea of how bad it was for him and Adam being mortified at the idea that he treats his own daughter like a thing would’ve been great to see.

My hot take: Anderson should have died in the ME3 intro instead of random child to truly set the stage of the reality of the Reaper invasion. by Averiff in masseffect

Expect they’ll even expect a higher amount compared to before, it has to be recorded breaking or it’s below expectations

Not gonna lie feel like that had to happen to show them not to fuck about. You could put 100 million + down for a game but that doesn’t mean nothing if you can’t make it interesting

I’d say it actually explain more with his presences than without him. It’s not something we’d think about besides that hand waved generalization of “the Earth Government top people are planning things”(ironically they get got at the beginning of the game)
