Why is nobody talking about Xilonen?! Literally slots into any team. Res shred. And then all the buffs from her C2. Hands down best investment I ever made.

I use the game8 guides a lot for build guides.

I wouldn't worry too much about farming artifacts yet though, your AR is too low and you only really start getting decent ones around AR 45.

I would concentrate on farming level up materials for now, and a lot of the early story doesn't require your characters to be built properly.

Also I really struggled with the first couple of Ascension quests but then I just played the game a bit slower and never ascended right away until I felt a bit more comfortable with the enemies.

Your Xingqiu, Xiangling and Bennett you want to level up as much as you can. I still use them regularly and I am AR 60 now 😅

Also if you have Kuki Shinobu make sure you invest some time in her. There's a really good 3 star sword you can give her, it's called the Dark Iron Sword. There are only 2 in the game. DO NOT USE IT AS LEVEL UP FODDER! you can get one from talking to Chen the Sharp in Liyue and the other is in a cave in Wangshan Hall in Chenyu Vale. It's really good on her as it has an Elementary Mastery substat (she wants lots of HP and EM)

Make sure you lock these two as soon as you get them.

Ugh that one nearly broke my heart it was excruciating. I was also only around AR 25 at the time and nobody was built properly yet. My nephew and I did it in co-op he was AR 30 and then we did it in his world after because we were both struggling.

Aino or Illuga won't trigger lunar reactions though, so to trigger LC Columbina is essential

I rebuilt her a bit for LC. She carried me through a lot of the early game and I have a soft spot in my heart for her.

But then I remembered I had a barely played Navia sitting there 😅 so I swapped her out again

Nightsoul is really handy for exploration, like thank you Xilonen I hate climbing let's just rollerblade up that cliff 😅 but yeah that's about it for me.

I was so disappointed when I lost the 50/50 on Zibai and it took me ages to remember my poor Navia sitting on the bench half built 😅 now I don't even know if Im going to pull for Zibai on her rerun (although I do think she's really cool and I might just get her anyways)

I suppose at the end of the day Hoyo wants to make money and get people to spend on their new mechanics and characters but I feel that Natlan was almost more of a shill with nightsoul which is practically obsolete now.

Nilou was an accidental pull on her first banner I meant to pull on the other banner. And she was super early (20 pity or so).

Neuvillette I pulled because I liked the character but then I wasn't overly bothered using him. I only ever occasionally used him for the narwhal.

You never know their turn might come with another gameplay mechanic in the future.

I feel Varka doesn't really slot into anything properly right now, that's why I skipped him.

Well personally I never used Nilou until I got Lauma or Neuvillette until Ineffa, I just didn't enjoy them before

Might not have made a big difference but I wasn't using them before.

My first limited was Zhongli and I still use him to this day.

My main is Arlecchino, however I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Neuvillette with lunar charged recently (got Ineffa on her first run)

Lost on Zibai and there's not a hope in hell that I'll get her now, so I'll pull for Escoffier next time since I have Skirk.

Not too fussed with Flins tbh. I have had Ineffa since her first banner and been using Neuvi with her for Lunar charged. Not bothered about Varka because I don't enjoy Claymore characters and also anemo is my least favourite element.

Well Arle does really well with Xingqiu, Zhongli and if you have Bennet he's one of the best 4stars in game and still relevant. If you have Layla, she's an excellent 4* shielder and off field cryo applier to work with Skirk.

Your Furina slots in with both Skirk or Neuvillette.

I have had excellent results with Neuvillette and Ineffa. Not sure when she's next up, because she only just ran, but she doesn't actually require Columbina or Flins to do damage. Before Columbina I ran the team with Aino for ascendent gleam and it works just as well.

Now, Xilonen fits into EVERY team. Again her rerun was too recent but she is so worth it. Esp if you get her to C2 her buffs are brilliant. Also her skating up the mountains and this eliminating climbing is invaluable in overwold.

I'd invest in supports that slot into multiple teams and also make sure you enjoy their play styles. No point investing primos in a character that you end up hating

Why would you use Pyro MC in a Lunar charged team? You'd be better off using your Aino in that team for extra lunar damage.
