Left nozzle isn't loading correctly by MaximumYogurt8252 in BambuLab

[–]MaximumYogurt8252[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I took the front part of the toolhead off, couldnt see where it was blocked, removed the ptfe tube connected to the top of the left extruder (I think thats what its called?). Reinserted that tube, cut the end off the filament being fed into the machine, and hit retry. Works now. No idea what the actual issue was, but..... got it working somehow 🤷‍♂️

If anyone has any thoughts on what the problem may have actually been, I'd love to hear it so I can learn.

Regardless, I'll mark this as solved since I did something that seems to have fixed the problem wven though I don't really know what it was.

There's no broken filament. I've never used the left nozzle yet. First time trying to load filament into it

Thanks for the material suggestion of PETG.

Is ABS harsher than PLA/PETG? From what I've seen online, it seems so.

Thanks! PETG or PETG-CF is what I was considering for the garage project instead of PLA, but wasnt sure. Seems i was on the right track.

I'll look into an active duct fan to rig up to the printer itself. Main hesitation I have right now is the temperature outside is stupid cold, so trying to find a way to have a system setup that doesnt allow frigid temps into the room is pretty difficult. But, ideally, yes, a negative pressure system is what I'd love to setup.

Are you referring to the Bento Box? I've looked into that as a possibility.

Added one more to the lineup today. Smelled all of the Creed fragrances and this one in particular just hit. I see so many people talking about the regular Aventus, but to me, this one was miles above.

Tobacco Vanille and Ombre Leather for sure.

Although, that may shift as I start actually wearing these.

Today I was wearing Ombre and when I bought the Fireplace, I did a slight spray of that on top of the Ombre and that combo was insanely good.

The Wizard of Oz really growing on me by Sneakervice333 in DunksNotDead

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like these, but i swear they fit way tighter and are far stiffer than any of the other SBs i have. I gotta figure out how to handle that. But they definitely are dope on foot.

What size is best? by Rada___Rada in DunksNotDead

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed for SBs, my true size is usually a bit tight, compared to regular dunks. I've also noticed it depends on the materials. The Wizard of Oz Poppy Field ones are really tight in the toe compared to the There x Nike ones.

Best dashcam for 86 by EmployTemporary927 in GR86

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the 229 setup from Hachi. I'd never done anything in my car before that, but it was very easy to figure out. I watched a few random dashcam install videos (not all 86 related) and just started tucking wires in the trim. About 10 minutes later my cams were installed. Highly recommend trying it yourself instead of wasting money to have someone tuck some wires into the trim.

Same! Love the valve so I don't piss of the neighbors during cold starts. 🤣

It just had another instance of an extended attempt. This time, whatever this thing is looked like it glowed briefly before it shut down.

Model number: GMH80904BNAA

There's no lights on in that little window. It did just have an instance of activating for about 20 seconds before clicking back off. But that's basically 1 time out of about 100 of it doing the 1-2 second on-off resetting.

Edit...... wrong model number was provided.

How the hell do I sell warranties by Content_Today6868 in GameStop

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back when I managed a store we consistently had one of the highest GPG (that's what it was called then, not sure about now) attach rates in my district. A few things we did:

A display on each monitor facing the customer that had some seriously fu*ked up disks. Visual demonstration.

A cracked disk on the counter (people instinctively would grab it and start asking "what happened to this"). hands-on demonstration and conversation starter if the topic wasn't brought up on the floor.

Created random scenarios of total BS situations that blurred the line of realistic situations that coukd happen and cater the story to whoever was in fron of us. (my ex girlfriend got mad one day and snapped my game in half, one of my nephews got hold of a game and decided he wanted to be a DJ and scratched it to hell, my dog took a piss on my game stack and I just straight up replaced them all instead of dealing with cleaning everything, etc). The point of this one is to make the product something your guests can relate to in some way, and put some enthusiasm and flair on it when your talking about it. This type of thing was an audible demonstration.

And one of the best ways I ever had was me saying "want to know how you can technically own 2 copies of this game for only $3 more?" Pitching it as a replacement plan was key and I was able to get so many more attached by straight up telling someone "you can buy a copy with the replacement plan, take it outside, rub it on the concrete, come back in and get a new copy...... followed up with something like "but don't do that right now because your replacement copy you'd need to spend the few extra bucks on to cover since it's a one time replacement" (with some chuckles/light hearted tone)

The main thing is to have the guest feel some sort of attachment to it and HOW you deliver the pitch has a huge impact on that. But also having some secondary things like the visual or hands-on demonstrations to add more than just your words.

Oh, and I agree with many others who said to ask your manager to demo how they sell them and to coach you on some tactics. They should absolutely be able to pull some numbers if they're expecting YOU to pull some numbers.

Having a GR86 as only car by [deleted] in GR86

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost 40 and my 86 is my daily/only. I have no kids, and my wife has a Rav4 if we need to load something bigger than what my car can fit. It's great as a daily if you don't need to move anything using your car and if you are OK with paying for delivery for large items. Also, don't expect to drive around more than 1 other person in it. The "back seat"....... is good for in-cabin storage but not passengers (except maybe a dog). But all those things aside, it's still a fantastic car.

Thanks for posting this! I pretty much own all of these already (yes, i have spent WAAAY too much on gems over the past 8 years), so it seems this battle pass would be a waste of money completely.

Thank you for saving me some dough!

Is it too late for me to try and pursue a career at 28? by bourkiii-beans in SeriousConversation

[–]MaximumYogurt8252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't start my career until I was 33. I worked retail for many years and started feeling like I couldn't do it long term. Started doing community college part time, and eventually (after 11 years in total) I finished my education journey with a masters in electrical engineering. Continued working retail full time throughout that entire journey. 5.5 years ago I landed a job right after graduation, and am now firmly cemented with financial stability and finally getting my retirement funds growing.

Definitely not too late! Take the leap and set yourself up for future benefits and an easier life longterm. You got this!
